Deshadan Mountain Resort - The highest resort in Munnar - Resort hotel in Munnar - Idukki, India

Our stay at the hotel was truly delightful, as the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. The culinary offerings were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The breakfast selection was impressive, and the service provided was outstanding. I want to extend a special commendation to Rajkumar, the reception staff, for his exceptional assistance. He went above and beyond, offering valuable recommendations and responding promptly to our needs. His personal touch made a significant difference in our experience, and he certainly deserves special recognition and appreciation.

Picturesque Munnar, neat clean and full off natural beauty... And then equally picturesque Deshadan mountain resort... Amazing view from window, nice maintained place. Good landscaping, good view point overlooking the hill... Even the staff, starting from manager, skilled kitchen staff, restaurant boys and room service... Everyone was polite, helpful and always smiley.. eager to help you. All in all worth every moment in the place... I highly recommend this place to anyone who wishes to visit Munnar.

This place is high up above Munnar, but only about 20 minutes by car from there. The situation is stunning, with great green views, steep forest and grassland, plantations. The chalets were simple but well equipped, very comfortable. The proximity to nature allowed a few bugs to join us, but the place was clean and healthy and the bugs were welcome and not intrusive. The food was good, not always they had the menu options, but they worked hard to get them if possible and found good alternatives. The main aspect was the very considerate staff, their good humour and availability. Walking just down the road was a pleasure and treks can take you around the place. Our daughter had her birthday while we were there and the decked up the sitting room in our chalet with balloons, lights, candles and amazing flowers... And a dairy free cake. The price was good, there were no bad supposed and plenty of good. We would happily come back again. And we recommend Deshadan fully.

Amazing location and views of Munnar. The property is great. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly. And both North and South Indian food is served, and are delicious. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the view for a long time because of bad weather, but for some time when it cleared up, it was mesmerising.

Well kept and clean. Rooms are spacious enough for the price charged. Food was really good, especially the complimentary breakfast. Drive up the hill is required so new drivers need to be careful. Situated out of the main town, and has some good spots. Only negative I feel is the rooms and balconies are close to each other.

Great place to stay ! although the location is a little remote but still the view makes it all worth it. the staff is really polite and the food is very tasty with all the varieties. the rooms are neat and clean with bathrooms working properly. again the best thing is the balcony with beautiful view.

This is the best resort in Munnar. It is located in very scenic location at the highest peak in Munnar. Rooms are clean, hygienic. Owner and staff are very friendly. Food and service is awesome. We had a perfect vacation here.
