Rooftop is very nice! You can have a good view of the fort and sunset. The cook Raj is awsome and the host Suresh is very kind. Would definitly recommand.
Location of this restaurant has changed.It's in a different location near to the fort.The interiors don't look anything like this in pic.The food prepared was good though.I tried the mutton handi.It has a fort view but the seating looks very local and so do the staff.I was traveling solo and PPL started looking at me like they were seeing women travelers for the first time.I didn't find it clean and the menu was of a different restaurant not sure what's happening but it lacks vibes which can be fixed with some hygiene,neat and clean seating and professional waiting staff.
I stay at desert cow and every time I try there food and I really enjoy the food Tea, Paratha and Dal, Chapati. Their so delicious. And price are fair. There staff was so friendly and they have best fort view.
The Laalmaas I had here was amazing probably the best iv ever had and the service from staff here was also very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Jaisalmer
Wonderful place to enjoy delicious food !
We often ate at Dessert Cow's restaurant during our trip to Jaisalmer. It was always delicious and the people who work there are so nice. The view is also amazing. Spend some time there during sunset, you won't be disappointed! It's wonderful.
Jalam was very helpful in guiding and booking for the place, the guesthouse is just adjacent to the Jaisalmer fort and the rooftop restaurant gives a beautiful view of the fort.
Suresh who takes care of the place was very accessible and just a call away, a must visit for single/group travellers.
Traditional Indian food, that what Rajul, the cooker, will make you discover. The staff is really nice and the view on the fort is superb. I recommend it.
We visited Desert cow Restaurant based on good reviews on Tripadvisor. Not disappointed.
There is an excellent view of the fort from the roof terrace. Food is mainly traditional Indian, it is well priced and was of a very good quality. Top it off with an icy cold Kingfisher beer and you have a winner.
Highly recommended.
