Denzong Shangrila Lords Inn Gangtok - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

I stayed for 4 days at this property, and booked a superior room, as claimed in reality there is no mountain view. I got the room on the 1st floor.Though the room is big in size but the bathroom conditions are not up to the mark. Very small in size, no hand shower, wet floor, water was splashing out from the bathing area. The rooms are old fashioned, depressing lighting and old furniture. The ambiance of the room is very depressing, highly over priced, I had been charged INR per night, one can get a better hotel at this price. The good thing is the roof top restaurant has a great view and the food quality is good.

We had a decent stay in Voyage Denzong Shangrila hotel for 3 nights. While we were greeted during Check-in in traditional Sikkim style but no welcome drinks were provided as promised during booking. The Deluxe room is actually very small for 2 persons, overall amenities and upkeep could be better. The breakfast buffet had a limited spread with good quality food. However the room service food quality during dinner was highly overpriced was below par in quality. The place is around 2 Km from MG Marg and could be reached by local cabs easily. Overall our stay was peaceful.

I stayed in this hotel from 18th to 26th July 2023 and the experience was wonderful. The rooftop restaurant has blissful views of the hills and I could see the clouds settling in. It's quiet, luxurious and the food is absolutely great, you must try their momos and thukpas as they have authentic chef's. Once you're in, do meet Mr. Raj Subba, a charismatic gentleman who happens to be the general manager as well. He took good care of me and I was very well taken care by Ankit Sarma, Kiran, two other young men at the restaurant, one of them I guess is Pavan, Rong Nyu at reception and of course chef Swaraj who is a magician at making momos. This stay has been a very memorable for me and I will never forget this experience as it will be in my memories forever. I have also happened to meet the owners family and they are very caring and sweet. I would really wish to be back, of course during off seasons as that's when I take the advantage of travelling

Booked a deluxe room and got upgraded to suite! Was greeted well and taken good care by the employees. Food spread and the taste was excellent! Close to MG Marg road. Highly recommend this place.

It is awesome, very comfortable, courteous staff, multiple delicious dishes in breakfast. Multi cuisine restaurant with very tasty food, wonderful chefs. I would recommend this hotel . Thank you for awesome service Denzong Shangrila. I will definitely stay here again in my next visit to Gangtok.
