De Suzain - Hotel in Leh - Leh Ladakh, India

This property is a shame. The Manager Mr Rakesh tries his best to manage multiple properties at a time. But in his absence this property becomes a mess. The staff is completely useless. Does literally nothing even after asking for a basic amenity such water or dustbin in the room. The staff has 3 visible members who most of the time just keep sitting in the lobby couch playing games on their phones. The property is little off road from main market. The rooms are decently big but there is zero maintainance by the staff. Breakfast timings are mentioned as 7.30 am onwards but we were told that the chef has not arrived even at 8 am. So we had to leave hungry even when we already paid for it. All in all a complete no no for this place. You can get much better options in the same locality. Special mention to Mr Rakesh who tried his best to serve us and was available on call all the time. But this property seriously needs compatible staff to be working well.

One of the best to stay in Leh. They have wonderful rooms. The staffs are so co operative that they will be there for all your needs. This is situated near the market ao that dining out is not a problem. There will be hot water thorugh the pipes at the evening time. they have a restaurant inside which serves some standard dishes.

This was our first time in Ladakh and I stayed here in this place for 3days and we had a great time. Food was awesome similar to homemade food. Mr Rakesh is a gem of a person. If you are visiting leh and looking for a good place to stay then this is the one and he planned our Ladakh trip which was amazing and we are satisfied.

We stayed here on 28th and 29th June, we insisted for ground floor or 1st floor rooms, but citing a full booking Manger alloted us top floor room, we were OK though, but while leaving we requested for 1st floor room On 2nd July ,which he promised it will be done, but to our surprise again he allotted us same room Manager Narendra was not even ready to talk, he was behaving as if he has done us a favor by giving room to us,worst when we were leaving for nubra he was asking money from us as if we running away, his word Paisa de ka ja, no manger I have seen talking so rude, When we cane back from Pongog we asked if any snack can be provided on cash payment,,he was like as if we asked him to climb on Mt everest ,was so rude even while replying and just walked passed our face ,suggest not to stay here ,if you want friendly environment, So so so pathetic, worst ever manager to run the hotel.

The staff was very courteous and room service was prompt.The manager Narendra was very polite and helpful.The food was very homely and tasty,also special requests for dishes were also attended to.The rooms very spacious and interiors were superb.Our Tour operator Mrs Josna Johnson gave personalised attention to all our requirements during our visits to different tourist sites.

De Suzain Hotel is very nice and staff are very cooperative. Especially Mr Saurav was very polite and helpful. Also Mr Rakeshji arranged the Ladhak tour program very nicely.We thanks all of you for giving a happy and memorable moments in Ladakh By Prakash and family

Though hotel is good, Manager Narendra is very rude and impolite, doesn't deserve to be a Manger, other house keeping staff are good and very helpful, don't expect any help or guidance from the manager,,you are own your own if u stay here, stayed twice while going to nubra and ehile coming back, both time we observed he was very pathetic
