Dasuya Forest Division - National forest in Hoshiarpur - Hoshiarpur, India

(Beh Lakhan, Dasuya: my native place) This is an amazing Forest with good roads with beautiful scenes in the morning/evening. It has a few Dams inside it, and Pong Dam nearby. A good route to try, for Travellers going towards Dalhousie or Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, if they want to skip Pathankot in their journey but want to feel nature.

Nature and peace always attracts me ...I love this place ...I visited this place on rainy day ...and during rain this place looks amazing ...we carried some fresh fruits and snaks ... well spend day picnic

This is a medium-opened forest with a variety of animals like Indian Leopards,Monkeys,Sambars,Parahs etc.This place is also best for a bird watcher as their number of birds in this place like Sparrows,Forest Crows,Yellowish-Green Parrots,Indian Peafowls,Robins,Woodpeckers,Hornbills etc. This place also has a large variety of flora such as hardwood trees like Teak(Sagwan),Mango,Amla,Baiken,Neem,Sal,Bamboo,Rajain,Peepal,Banyan,Khair,Shisham,Mulberry etc and shrubs like Panch Fuli,Gandhala,Red Spits,Champak etc. So,I recommend you to visit here and enjoy the beauty of nature.

One of the dense forest with lots of different flora and fauna. Deciduous forest type situated in lower shivalik hills. If you are nature lover the you will get to see lot of things here like small trek leading to inner villages, few medicinal plants, view points. Road connectivity is good. You can reach to nearby villages through vehicle then you can access the inner of woods through treks.

Very Neat set up decent food good service . tandoori items were not available.tried chicken options .All things ordered were nice and pocket friendly.

Very peaceful place which keep you close to nature. Chirpping of birds especially Peacock refreshes your mind..Reaching here you can enjoy feeling of Himachal
