(Beh Lakhan, Dasuya: my native place) This is an amazing Forest with good roads with beautiful scenes in the morning/evening. It has a few Dams inside it, and Pong Dam nearby. A good route to try, for Travellers going towards Dalhousie or Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, if they want to skip Pathankot in their journey but want to feel nature.

This is a medium-opened forest with a variety of animals like Indian Leopards,Monkeys,Sambars,Parahs etc.This place is also best for a bird watcher as their number of birds in this place like Sparrows,Forest Crows,Yellowish-Green Parrots,Indian Peafowls,Robins,Woodpeckers,Hornbills etc. This place also has a large variety of flora such as hardwood trees like Teak(Sagwan),Mango,Amla,Baiken,Neem,Sal,Bamboo,Rajain,Peepal,Banyan,Khair,Shisham,Mulberry etc and shrubs like Panch Fuli,Gandhala,Red Spits,Champak etc. So,I recommend you to visit here and enjoy the beauty of nature.
One of the dense forest with lots of different flora and fauna. Deciduous forest type situated in lower shivalik hills. If you are nature lover the you will get to see lot of things here like small trek leading to inner villages, few medicinal plants, view points. Road connectivity is good. You can reach to nearby villages through vehicle then you can access the inner of woods through treks.
