Cuttack Railway Station
Cuttack Junction
Located at Cuttack, Odisha.
One of the major Railway stations in Odisha.
Comes in Howrah - Chennai route .
Comes under the East-Coast Railway Division.
Station code is CTC.
Nice station, cleaned, maintained.
Waiting rooms are available.
Food,water facilities are good.
Auto ,cab facility is also nice.
When I last travelled, some construction work was going on.
Escalators & Lifts are non-functional.
Famous city of odisha. clean and well maintained
Now remodelling work is going, therefore I found the debris everywhere. A great number of police personnel were found in the platform. They have been asked perhaps to assist the administration in the forthcoming " Bali jatra"
One of the major station on Howrah Chennai route. Decent improvement on various aspects of infrastructures based on several initiatives of Railways but working culture still need some changes. Retiring Room booking is one example. Despite of rooms going unoccupied, staff are just not interested to entertain any queries on spot booking

Cuttack station is very beautiful and the inside and outside of the station is very clean. There is enough space for parking. Unfortunately, there are many trains running very late.

During the period 1893 to 1896, 1,287 km (800 mi) of East cost railway was built and opened to traffic. It necessitated construction of some of the largest bridges across rivers like Brahmani, KathaJodi, Kuakhai, Mahanadi (Longest river of odisha) and Birupa. Cuttack station was connected to the Indian railway network in 1899.
Pm Modi will also lay of foundation of redevelopment work of Cuttack railway station.
Averagely cleaned railway station with availability of escalators, overall there is good reach of packed food items.
