Hell a lot of improvement in the last one year after Col. Raman taken over the canteen, he is doing his best. Hats off to him.

Always crowded with aged pensioners and comes from faraway, have to wait, stand outside on main road, till the gate opens. Though they provided a telephone but never response to any calls. During summer in unbearable hot and humid conditions, it is very difficult to stand for a long time either outside or inside and takes 2 to 4 hours to come out with purchased items. Inside means you are in hot furnace. As the space is limited we have to struggle to move inside to pick up the items. Few local orders such as Token system, Finger scan, CSD book producing has been carried out which isn't done in any other canteens. Hope improvement will be done soon with more billing counters.

Can anyone help me I'm facing problems here, i applied new card 7months before but still I didn't get it, they always reply it will come only whenever I come, and today they are saying maybe any error you apply again. They are responding properly.

It is Army canteen, Where service men,Ex service men and their family buy Grocery products like soap, shampoo, washing powder, brush, paste, Tea and coffee powder etc In electronic category you can buy iron box, light ,fan etc . They will introduce new products like bicycle , smartphone etc every year. They are upgrading themselves. But the Small negative here is large number of people come everyday. So mananging them is bit difficult. They are trying very hard to maintain code of discipline. But still needs to be improved .

Well. Maintained in spite of extreme crowd at times

Neatly arranged sitting arrangements. Token system to avoid crowds. Tea and mini meals on payments. Good.

Always filled with unserviceable crowd. CSD is not managing with sufficient counters to service the crowd. The welfare head sitting there is skipping his responsibilities. The suffering of the ex-servicemen continues for the past 3 years. Unless the media takes some initative, the atrocities by the sitting head will continue. It's so hot in summer that every one will come out wet with sweat. Always waiting in the que for very long hours has become order of the day. Written complaint hasn't fetched any fruitful result. Elderly ex-servicemen and their dependents suffer the pain of waiting in que. These administers need our beloved PM to address this issue. Writing this with pain in the heart and mental agony. Ex servicemen are asked to stand on the roadside , when they come for purchase of store items . CSD store is opened by 9 AM , till that time from 6AM to 9 AM Ex-servicemen those who were guarding our border in winter and summer and extreme snow , at the age of 60 70 now, and the families of the sepoys are made to stand on the roadside in front of the CSD canteen. Very very shamfull of our part. This type of treatment should be stopped.
