Cruise N' Lake Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Kumarakom - Kottayam, India

This review is only for food. I have no idea on their stay. Food not as per expectations. Very very less variety. Boiled rice and pickle was good. Would not recommend fish here.

Excellent location, very tasty food and too much reasonably priced.. loved it., They provide you boat ride as well at cheaper rates. If you love to have a drink near the lake shore, bring your own bottle..;-) the food they arrange is simply awesome. Enjoyed every bit of it. It takes normal time for them to prepare it and serve. 5 stars without a second thought

Pretty nice place to chill out with friends and family. Tasty food. Waterfront seating arrangements. Should consider to make the cutlerys and plated bit cleaner.

The room was nice and clean, few insects in the bathroom which I guess is normal in the middle of nature! Lovely host and delicious food that you can eat right outside your room at covered tables with probably one of the best views, over the backwaters and lake, sunset/rise right in front of you. A boat picked me up just outside my room as well for a 2h tour.

I stumbled upon Cruise a Lake resort while looking for lunch options from my resort.. Google maps showed 2 routes to reach Cruise N lake resort. I took the first route which turned me into a dead end. Turned around and took the second route only to realize that the road is too narrow even for a 4 meter hatchback. One side of he road is a lake so one needs to be very careful while negotiating the turns. There is no space for 2 vehicles to pass through .After managing through those narrow roads finally reached the restaurant. Restaurant is located next to a lake which offers Amazing views.. We ordered fish curry meals along with fish fry. Food was hygienic and tasty. Ladies serving the food were very courteous and helpful. Fish curry meals was priced at 100 bucks. Overall a recommend place provided you are skilled enough to drive through narrow roads. Bikers shouldn't have a problem.

It's difficult getting there but once u reach u wont be disappointed. The place is next to the lake so lovely view and breezy. We had veg meals and believe me it was heavenly. Homely cooked fresh meals. Enjoyed every bite

This place is right by the backwater. You can have your meal overlooking the vembanad lake. The food is great. My absolute favorite are the French fries. Fresh and crispy I travel very long to come here for these bad boys. The seafood here is amazing as well. Apart from that the staff is really friendly. You can also rent rooms here. The rooms are nice and we'll maintained. They also can help you with arranging a boar trip.

Twice I had lunch from Cruise n lake restaurant. Small huts with table and chairs serve as the dining area.You can have a view of the lake from the huts and enjoy the food with view of the house boats. They charge 90 Inr for a non-veg meals (fish curry included). The food is fresh. Local women serve as the cook in the restaurant. You get a taste of homely food.A swing is available for the kids to play.
