It is about 5-7 mins taxi ride from Police Bazaar but quieter and with one or two good restaurants. We were in a triple room, quite spacious and the bathroom was clean. In fact, two of the best things about this place are , one, the helpful nature of the proprietress Shanti, two, the extremely clean rooms and overall, nice ambience. Also, Shanti as a guide in arranging the itinerary and even travel arrangements helped a lot. The breakfast was simple - parathas and sabji with a plate of fruit and a flask of tea/ coffee. Overall, a very comfortable stay. Thank you for making my Shillong stay so nice.
If you are in Shillong, this is a nice place to stay. Their sense of hospitality and specifically the warmness of Owner Shanti ma'am will definitely please you.
The only thing you may consider is that they don't have a restaurant attached to this property.
Even though, they provide a nice breakfast each and every day.
This charming guest house in Upper Laban felt so much like home, we had a lump in our throat while leaving! Waking up to church bells ringing, looking out to undulating hills, and lazing in the sun-kissed rooms was a treat. And the breakfast was so amazing! Joy and Shanti, you two are doing a great job and we will keep coming back for more of Crossroad. We recommend it wholeheartedly to those who come to Shillong for a dash of nature and a splash of hospitality!
Staffs were friendly. Morning breakfast provided there was tasty. And moreover they helped us with information regarding the tourist places which are good to visit at that season. Really very good.
Rooms are spacious,cozy, clean and comfortable.. location is easy to find. The host is very friendly and helpful.
This hotel is really good though it is lil far from Shillong city but stay would be really comfortable and the host is very welcoming in nature.

Had been there for 3 nights. A wonderful host Madam Shanti is. She is very courteous and her hospitality is excellent. Wishing her and her family all the best.
They provided 4 of us dinner on request. Provided us breakfast early due to our changed schedule. Best of all based on our request she arranged a good car transport for us. We could talk to her and get things arranged before we reached.
