This place is the starting place for the boat ride in Zuari river and this is a must visit place if you're a birding enthusiast or a bird photographer. The guides take you in the river along the mangrove forests and one can see many birds and especially 3-5 varieties of kingfisher. Few raptors like osprey and fish eagles can be seen depending upon the luck. Crocodiles are in plenty and can be seen basking on the shore. It's a 2.5 hours boat trip, onboard snacks and water bottles are provided.

Absolutely incredible experience. Went with the family and spotted several crocodiles as well as the lesser adjutant stork (which is apparently quite rare to spot) Fantastic tour guides, took time out to show us properly. Would highly recommend. See video for one of the crocs we spotted!

It was a great tour! Just couple of hours but I saw a lot of interesting birds and about 4 crocodiles Guys give me its binocular. There is a toilet on the stern of the board.

A calm, peaceful and yet mind-blowing boat trip through the Zuari River and Cumbarjua Canal, and a definite must-visit for birdwatchers and wildlife photographers wanting to try an outing into the diverse mangrove ecosystems of Goa. The boat trip starts from 7:00 am lasting upto three hours all the way till 10:00 am, and is conducted on a 14-seater boat. Booking can preferably done in advance through the business website, and vegetarian snacks are offered at the end of the boat trip. It is preferred to wear dull-coloured clothes and to carry a pair of binoculars and/or your still photography equipment. Videos are harder to take from a moving boat. If you do not mind an early start to your day along with a late breakfast, the sightings will totally enchant you! All the way from elegant black-capped and collared kingfishers, green-pigeons and waders to drab-coloured yet majestic adjutant storks and crocodiles, an experienced guide spots them out to show to an excited audience. And if all of this did not suffice, raptors such as sea-eagles and falcons are totally happy to join your checklist! A boat-trip totally worth trying out on a birding/photography tour in Goa, and one I would happily return to!

If you love nature then this is the experience one cannot miss. Dr. Varsha gives seamless instructions and booking. The birding safari just cannot be described, it has to be experienced. Early in the morning you are in a boat seeing the mangroves and the bird and animal life which is abundant - from birds to crocodiles you see it all. But more important is the enthusiasm and effort the crew put in to make the trip special - right from spotting the wildlife to the small things of offering sandwiches, biscuits and water which make this birding safari truly special.

A birder's paradise. The route is scenic, Kingfishers aplenty, posing in most majestic ways, calling out to all quiet and patient observers. If you think you've seen it all, then wait, an Osprey may shock you, a Falcon may make your jaws drop, while elsewhere a Darter may pop a fish. Then while you are busy with the Kingfishers, a Brahmini Kite may be sitting just where your boat is, while you will be completely oblivious to the perfect pose that it offered you. And alas, when it takes off, you'll only be left wanting that shot... Well that's what it is... A photo frame here, there, everywhere. If you think you've wrapped a lovely shoot, you are very wrong. A crocodile or two lazy around, unfazed by your presence, bring that binoculars, or a scope or even your mobile camera for those lovely moments. But don't bring litter, don't dump waste and check your belonging before leaving in haste.

Definitely recommend this place if you are a bird watcher. Else will turn out to be a bit boring. Lots of crocodiles so trip will definitely not be a loss. For bird watchers, this place is heaven. The guide had a very sharp eye and was very knowledgeable.
