Coos & Paws Birds park - Animal park in Chatrapatti - Madurai, India

Small place than i expected, but if its your first time seeing the different types of birds upclose in your hand, you'll enjoy it. Need to improve the size of the nest and plant lot of tree's around, plus it will be helpful to identify the birds if they put birds photo and name in a banner up front. The day i went school kids also visited as tour and they had great time. And the room on the back should be well lit to view the hedgehogs and guinea pigs inside the glass box. Sometimes the birds won't come to your hand, cos it was fed before so wait for some time and try again. This Coos and Paws started recently, there was some construction work also undergone when i visit. My only sadness is i couldn't see the dog which many mentioned. Hope they expand and impress the visitors more.

best place for exotic pet lovers. 1st petting animal park in madurai! worth the visit and people should encourage by visiting. very exotic animals can be found and the best part is we can pet them! the price is also very cheap, the fees can be increased.

Yeah! It's really nice place to see and visit you get a peaceful mind relax bcoz u can hear the birds sound close to your heart. I mostly prefer family to go out for this place. And lots of birds and goat, horse etc. But entry fees is expensive Rs50 it's not worth bt it's ok. Go at evening time like 3pm-6pm.

Nice place for having a different weekend fun experience. Can spend around 1 hour. The place had different birds where you can feed them and they come sit on your hand or shoulder. Rabbits, pony, turkeys, hamster can also be seen here

Very beautiful location in Madurai. A great entertainment place for people of all ages. New varaities of goat are there. Best wishes to the owner and o wish they will develop this place with many new varietiesof birds and animals

A nice place to take kids, it was fun feeding birds. Many varieties of chicken, turkey and love birds are present, along with few goats and pony. The last 500m road to the park is not good.

Excellent place to be with your kids, especially kids below 7years, to see and enjoy the different variety of birds @ one place. You can also feed birds and experience the magical feel when birds sit on your palm and eat, lovely experience. A good initiative by the founder to inculcate on children about the nature and on rearing and feeding birds and animals, a tough job and needs enough patronage from public for its continuance. Kindly visit whenever possible and teach your children, to just allow the birds sit on them freely and tell them not to touch or harm them. Let's collectively change the next generation from gadget addiction to nature lovers.
