Collection O Hotel Shantiniketan - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

Not recommended whoever takes this hotel will regret after the stay. Rooms are big but I am giving this rating for unhygienic and dirty rooms. They are very unfit for this hotel industry. Big zero for cleanliness and hygiene.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed. The Hotel Manager tried to scam me when it comes to booking. Room are dirty. Very Unprofessional Staffs. Don't stay in this hotel it's bad and you will get scammed

The price is some on Oyo and after visiting they say that this room will not be available at this price and will cost more than this. And after booking poor quality service and even worse food there and even more there staff and manager. And he booked the car and took a lot of money, we came to know this when we went out for sightseeing because the passengers who had booked directly in it were charged 800 and those who came through other hotels took 900 and from us they took 1400. When sent, he also sent a poor quality vehicle and even more so, his driver started quarreling after being late for 5 minutes. And I told the hotel owner the matter of all this, but he started arguing with me, but after talking for a while, how did he make 1000rs. Then he said that tomorrow the hotel will be managed on rent. It was fine till this. When we left the next day, he had disappeared and someone else was sitting at the reception. Then we told him about yesterday, then he said that he is not there, just give me the amount of room I have to rent. Then we called him so many times but he did not pick up. And didn't even come. And we again waited for an hour but he did not come and the other man was such a bad man that you don't even ask. What could we do now, then we had to return after paying the full amount. So much fraud happened with us in this hotel. So please don't go to this hotel

Rooms were good. Very well located hotel. It took almost 5mints to reach M.G.Marg by walking. I liked that.

The hotel owner/manager is a fraud. Got two rooms confirmed through OYO app but the owner refused to provide rooms and said that he has provided rooms to other people offline to get more price. Even when the OYO care contacted him in front of us, he agreed having rooms available but refused to provide us all because he could get more through offline booking. Behaviour and attitude was non-acceptable and rude.

I booked room from Oyo ....but hotel manager denied to give room. Even the room is listed in oyo. He said we do not accept booking from Oyo and gave us room at higher price.

The rooms are entirely different from the shown pictures. The rooms are directly bed sheets, pillow covers even the blanket was dirty having patches. No AC, even the tv wasn't working Except this everything was good. Even, The staff wore coperative... It's actually good but they don't maintain it and one thing i was disappointed was he charged me extra then the price the Oyo was showing, claming that we had mailed Oyo you can contact them And at that rate we would not provide you the rooms... That was a huge disappointed

Hotel staff is very Good , Food is very good , Incovenient for childern and elders as they have to climb stairs. One bad thing is that they did not change the bed sheet for one day out of 3 days .
