Cohiba Bar & Kitchen - Goan restaurant in Candolim - North Goa, India

We decided to have dinner at Cohiba yesterday. Being a weekday the place was empty. We got excellent service. The soups were delicious. The mushroom brushcetta and veg spring rolls were tasty too. My husband and daughter enjoyed the goan beef chilli with butter roti. As requested the beef was made less spicy. A perfect place to enjoy a quiet meal on a week night. It took us a little over half an hour to drive down from Corlim Old Goa

What a vibe! The band that played was superb and their lead singer, even superb. Only reason I am giving a 4 is that the place refused to serve regular water and demanded 96 INR for a bottle of water. As per guidelines, regular water must be provided free of cost and bottled water should be an option. Would still highly recommend anyone to go. If the Admin is seeing this, would be great if you solved this concern.

We went there for live music. "Funthementals" band performed on Wednesday and what a great night it was! Had a blast at Cohiba. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone those who love live music.

We were there on a long weekend and there were people all over the place. All though the manager said there are reservations and limited seating capacity, we didn't see anybody following table reservations. The food was decent. The live music was something that elevated the experience of this place.

This visit was different in many ways... Guess visiting or rather visiting the popular Cohiba after 20 odd years is a charm. We went here to relive the memories - just one drink, let the younger lot have their moments.. It did bring back a lot of those memories, anecdotes.. This time was different though- since it is the off season so to say we were allowed to bring our lil one, but had to sit outside in the covered area.. One round of Jagger's and we were good to go...

Displeasure of visiting Cohiba Bar & Kitchen, located in Sinqurim, Aguada Fort Area-Candolim, and my experience was nothing short of disappointing. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted with mosquitoes under the table, which was off-putting and unsanitary. However, the live music was the only redeeming quality of this establishment. Unfortunately, the lack of hospitality culture was evident throughout my time at the restaurant, just not our table but many around us. The staff was very rude and unaccommodating, and it was disappointing to find out that no water was offered at all. If you wanted water, you had to buy it for a ridiculous price of 400+ tax. If you ask them to get you normal water, they say can get unfiltered tap water. Never faced this anywhere. The management was equally appalling, and the rules were absurd. Men were not allowed inside without shoes, which was a surprising and unnecessary rule. The fake hard spirit and bad food were additional letdowns, and the service was very poor. Nothing we ordered was good. Not sure if we need to call this a restaurant/Bar/Kitchen. It was apparent that the management was disorganized and inefficient, and the staff lacked proper training. The bartenders and bouncers were equally rude and unprofessional, which made the overall experience very unpleasant. In summary, I would strongly advise anyone against visiting Cohiba Bar & Kitchen. It is an overrated place with disgusting management, a lack of hospitality culture, and bad food. The only thing that one can come here for is the live music, but it's not worth enduring the terrible service, rude staff, and unsanitary conditions. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

Wow...what place to have live rock music. What a band....just loved it man. I have been quite frequent to this place for many years. But this was my 1st visit post covid times. Felt the same vibrant feeling. This place is rocking on Saturdays with live band performance. Mostly the choice of the band is amazing. Place has three kind of sitting areas. One is air conditioned, completely covered, with one stage performance area , around 6-7 round shaped high tables and around 14-16 normal tables with a big size BAR. This area has loud music and gets completely packed at the peak time of performances. Other two areas are in open where one is partially covered & both these areas have separate BARs & where you can smoke as well. Don't forget to book your table
