More of a place to chill out. Not much to do over there. If one feels good sitting outside with a cup of coffee and enjoying the sunset it's a beautiful place. For adventurous people it will turn out to be a boring place.
Coconut lagoon is beyond perfect, a piece of heaven where you are treated like royalty. One needs to truly experience this place. The location, rooms, architecture, landscaping, food and staff everything is amazing. So much in love with this place and the people who take care of it. Cannot wait to explore other CGH properties.
The Coconut Lagoon Team on location (Kumarakom) was found to be very welcoming, caring and helpful. The food was delicious and healthy. The location and the surroundings were full of nature, well maintained, safe and secure. The stay was very good. The room and property was excellent. However the food was very bad. They have very limited options to choose from. Also since the property is not accessible via road there are not many options to go outside to eat and need to rely on food inside. Food was not authentic Kerala food and seemed to be customized for foreigners. It is a disappointment if u look for authentic Kerala food.

Everything was perfect...from the food to the service to the views. The property is picturesque, well maintained and there are lots of activities for the guests. The staff and the manager were courteous, warm and prompt.
Everything is perfectly managed here - great food, good rooms, great property, and outstanding hospitality. We celebrated our anniversary their and they went above and beyond to make it a memorable event. Close your eyes and trust me... Book your stay here. You have to park your car at a designated gated (security guard available) parking spot and from their they will take you via boat to the resort. Upon arrival you will be greeted with traditional music and drinks. They currently don't serve alcohol. They have mainted the ecology of this property as much as possible to the original and this you will find many butterfly and also monitor lizard which is harmless. There are many activities to be done on the property both paid and free. Don't forget, this is a expensive place but totally worth it.

We booked a 1 bedroom houseboat with A/C in the bedrooms. It was spacious and clean and the bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with an English toilet (no toilet paper only a water jet so take that if you need it!).

We had this mid-sized boat to ourselves (a group of 4). It was nice mostly sunny day so we enjoyed the view from top. The crew were very friendly and navigated the boat at a nice leisurely pace. My wife even took a short nap in one of the bedrooms.
