Everything was perfect during our stay in Coconut creek. The house is very beautiful and well decorated. The garden is extremely beautiful and all the place is very clean. Our room was spacious and very well equipped. Plus, the personal of the Homestay was very nice, and they took care of us very kindly during our stay. They helped us organize our visits of the backwaters and of Kumarakom and its where abouts. Plus, the food was delicious. Thank you very much for everything and for your kindness, we had a wonderful time!

A Great place for a cool relaxed stay in the serene backwater hideout. The rooms though a little congested, but well maintained and absolutely clean and hygienic. Staff attend you with a smile and very helpful. They are very punctual and food is exemplary and reminds me of my mother's kitchen and affection. Really recommend this homestay for families and couples. It's a home away from home.

First thing service is worst. The service assistant doesn't know his to service guest. The owner of the place is old mentality. The youngsters and fly going for partying can't enjoy at all. They don't prefer we asking for food. Extra service like mosquito coil..they denied. What to say the place is filled with lots of mosquito... Lots of restriction for partying. No drinks. The service mgr was saying us that have food outside as there are lots restaurant. Breakfast was OK OK. Don't know how yo prepare Ginger tea. The rooms were congested... We felt like it end before start. The worst ever experience in our travel and touring life. Please avoid in case you are going for enjoying. Only suggested for old age people. We are frustrated. 1 star for this home stay. Pls avoid as this is genuine review by family of son with parents. Thanks W j GONSALVES

We stayed here in 2014 and always felt bad we didn't write a review afterwards. The place is great to stay for its proximity to the backwaters and the food was just incredible. Some of the best homemade Indian food we had during our trip. The family were always really nice and it was like a proper home stay. We relaxed on the seat swings near the calm river and took in the increible surroundings. Highly recommend !!

I booked a Deluxe AC 2 bedroom houseboat through Coconut Creek and was very disappointed. We set sail at 12:15pm out onto the big lake they are near. We dropped anchor in the middle of the lake from 2-4pm and then were back to the dock and anchored in for the night at 5:30pm. The next morning we didn't set sail until 8am. We went drove to the big lake then immediately turned around, went through one small backwater/canal for 10 minutes and then were docked and done with our overnight by 9am. We literally spent 10 minutes on a small canal, and only drove around the big lake for 3 hours and 15 minutes total. Not worth it to pay for the overnight on the houseboat. Only go for a daytime cruise and use a different company. The pictures on their website did not match the boat we had. They didn't communicate any sort of itinerary to us. The only positive thing was the lunch and dinner were delicious! Unfortunately, they served a Western meal for breakfast which was disappointing. I'm in India... I want Indian food, not food I can easily find back in the US!
