Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by its cozy and welcoming ambiance. Coastal cafe - A Hidden Gem!!! A small cafe located near overburrys folly, thalassery. If u prefer a cafe with a view this one's for you. Old kinda interior,cool breeze,great view,different varieties of homemade snacks n drinks makes this place a must visit. Parking might be a bit difficult. We tried their irachiputtu,mussel fry(kallumakkaya/arikadukka),manjjappam,chicken cutlet,bread pocket,chattipathiri,boost shake n cold coffee. Mussel fry is a must try.The owner suggested us to try it with mayonnaise and surprisingly it was damn good.Boost shake was kinda perfect. The food,people,evening view and ambience has made Coastal Cafe one of my favourite thalassery spots.
Vintage chaayakada feels with the best sea view! Must try - mann cup (kulhad) chaaya and their signature kallummakaaya nirachath Can seat about 25 - 28 people at once. ( Even if you don't have a seat in the cafe, what better place to enjoy the waves than the rocks! ) One could park near the Overburry's Folly and walk towards the cafe.
Located at Thalassery-(SAI )sports authority of India road..there is a small parking spot for car. The roads opens up to mesmerizing heaven of ambience and flavours ..The shop is small but the food is bigger than our tastebuds..fresh hot tasty..opens at 3pm..family run place.must must visit place .

Shiti cafe!! Order coffee to get a sugar attack. Order anything to eat for a quick heartattack, make sure to carry a small water bottle to collect all the extra oil from the food. Avoid at all the cost.
