Classic Island - Historical landmark in Kohima - Nagaland, India

Main intersection for all roads. It is a small circle in the middle of an intersection that allows for smooth flow of traffic. Great landmark for all purposes. Landmark is well maintained and during Christmas it is well lighted. Located at busy area and is near local markets, sports stadiums, taxi stands, atm and other restaurants. Parking is also found nearby. Picturesque spot that attracts all people. This place is not an "island" but is just a small landmark.

This place is a landmark which is at the center of a tri junction located between B.O.C and Raj Bhavan it could be beautiful if it is maintained well and kept cleaner than it is now. Other than that it is also one of the oldest landmark in Kohima town which can be seen while enroute to main town or to Raj Bhavan. It also shares the land with the Kohima Police Headquarters and Kohima Fire Service Office.

Classic island is one of the major tri-junction in Kohima. One goes towards Imphal from Dimspur and the other road goes towards the Raj Bhavan.

It's a name. Not exactly an island, so that you do not get confused

The new renovation is not up-to the mark... The old one was better.

Great at early morning. The view is best.

This isn't actually a park. It is just a traffic point.
