I visited this Hospital for minor surgery. To get OPD Card, one has to queue for nearly an hour. On reaching the counter, I found a man who talk too much but worked very slow. I talked to him, telling my purpose. I was advised to check Room No. 8, Surgery Department, but no one was there to speak. OPD Counter must know availability of doctors. Being the only civil hospital in the region, they render poor services. I am giving 00000 Ratings
S.M. Dev Civil Hospital is a state owned govt. Hospital. Hospital is mainly crowded and to get a appointment firstly we have to pay Rs 10/- only. Generally all the medical services are free or the price we have to pay is very less compared to other private hospitals. Now it is equipped with all kinds of new technologies . So basic emergency medical services can be done with ease. The place is crowded always & it's very time consuming to get basic services. The place lacks cleanliness, need improvement. Overall the experience is good just have to be patience regarding the service.
In OPD ... The behavior of some nurses were so much rude. Even when were enquired about ICTC room no 10... She ignored me like I am invisible. Even Superintendent did not know whereabouts.. All nurses should have name plate so that we can point out them because every nurse is not rude ... I am disappointed. That nurse's behavior is disapoiinting.. Nice treatment, I went for skin disease treatment, A long queue apprx ( 2 hrs) was there but after getting slip all was good.
Good facilities are available for every patients.
Now the hospital has visible development, which was missing 4years back, I found nearly all department OPD are available, and The hospital is continuously providing check up service, test services, and other govt scheme services, which is appreciable. The only thing is that now the staffs we see is devoted in good numbers, and huge investment done for infrastructure and machinery, this Civil Hospital Can be a bit more standard like Civil hospital in Aizwal. Staffs should be continuously trained and motivated to give better service, which is the holy thing people can give to other people happily. Emergency and other departments are ready there, please feel free to visit Civil Hospital for your general health check-up, which is approximately free here.
