One of the best Metro Stations seen in the country ! Done up aesthetically it showcases the chikkan embroidery work which is characteristic of this region. Huge print panels of this work line the corridors towards the entrance /exit. An excellent idea and an impressive way to highlight this handwork craft. The station is well maintained spick and span. The grandeur of the ambience is sufficient for families and other regular travellers to treat the place with respect. Great to see people standing for selfies and photos keeping the exhibits in the backdrop. It is an outing by itself for many.
It's an underground metro station and is extremely beautiful. You can get metro trains going towards CCS Airport as well as Munshipulia. Platform 1 and 2 are interconnected so you don't need to cross the over-bridge to swap your platform. *Amenities* Washrooms Drinking Water Eatlets
