Best place for a morning walk, less crowd, tracks are wide & pleasant environment with lake view. You can also enjoy the view of birds in the early morning. One round covers more than 1KM so ideal place for walking & running. Walking tracks aren't covered with concrete blocks so during the rainy season it is difficult to walk, there are no sitting benches so it may be difficult for elders to take a rest while walking. Needs a lot of improvement although a good place for walking. Timings to open the lake for walking Morning - 6 AM to 10 AM Evening - 4 PM to 7 PM
Good place for walking and jogging path is wide and good. It will be opened morning and evening for public. View is very good not crowded place feels very free to walking and jogging. Two entrances Available one is chunchgatta Ganesha temple gate and other one eshwar layout bus stop gate. Clean place and water is clean no smelly like before now everything is better and clean. Drawback is in rainy time path may get dirt because of no path blocks attached. And above 6.30 pm it's difficult to walk and jog there is no street lights for paths it will get complete darker after 6 or 6.30 pm it's better to finish off within this time. After finishing workout near both entrence chats available. Good place for family and friends to spend good time evening with them. It's not near to main road air feels fresh. Morning view will be superb birds fills the amazing view pigeons and other birds give superb morning view before 7 to 7.30 am is best time to get this view. May be one complete round is 500 to 600mtrs. Best time to visit morning for view and fresh air which give good peace to mind. Fantastic place try to visit place and make use of good places which is near and good.
Chunchugatta lake seems to have been recently rejuvenated. Lake is pretty clean with good water quality, there is a gravel walkway around the lake and fencing is also in place around the lake.However there seems to be some banana plantation within the lake fence at one end of the lake. Birds like Grey Heron, Kites, Egrets, Cormorants, Grey headed swamphen, Lapwings, Wagtails can be spotted here. Lake needs more trees and plants planted around the lake to attract more birds and also provide shade.

Very nice for walking. The only disadvantage is that there is no shade and lit of sand.
Lake needs to be cleaned further. Path needs to be paved. There are many varieties of birds in and around the lake. Good place for morning walk and birding.

A beautiful place which is clean and green. Walking path is wide throughout with regular sitting benches. There is play area, washroom, sitting benches with roof and excellent views of the water. You can find ducks and birds too.
