Must visit place with kids. I enjoyed it so much with different types of awesome paintings. I think every day would have a painting exhibition by artists.. great platform to show their talent and recognise. Moreover it's free for the ground floor exhibition, they charge a nominal entry fee of rs 10 for the first floor which includes old and traditional paintings, it was not much existing.
A great experience of the local collection of artifacts and products It was a unique blend of all products from various states of the country in one roof. A weekend hangout and family makes a joyful day.
Peaceful place and no disturbances if you go in the weekdays. Weekends are bit crowded. Art works are the best. You can buy some artwork. It is also kept for sale
Chitra Santhe was an amazing experience and this time the theme was our Indian freedom fighters. The whole Street was full of brilliantly colored and painted artworks of some of the best artists in our nation. The art museum itself was full of shops that had great handicraft and handloom products. There were street performance from local artists and live sketch sessions all around the place. If you are reading this, I hope you get to experience the same feeling that I had after missing out on every major event in last 2 years. I hope you get equally amazed and mesmerized by the talent and skills of these amazing people!
Amazing experience meeting some wonderful artists and witnessing great art. The gallery was well organised, categorised by painters work. It was a mixture of traditional, modern, still life and surreal art.
A must-go for art lovers. Expect huge crowds and lots of walking. I would encourage everyone in BLR to visit this annual event organised by CKP. The soul and right hemisphere of the brain will enjoy the beautiful artworks on display. Fantastic artworks by professionals as well as budding artists are on display. Many live portrait painting or temporary tattoo can be witnessed here. Rs50 to Rs200 is the cost for on-the-spot portrait. People will find a wide variety of artworks in different media for purchase. A few hundred rupessnor a couple of thousand rupees can get one a beautiful painting to hang in the living room. Parking is very limited so best to not drive. Use some form of public transport. Take the Green metro train to Mantri Mall station. Take a short auto ride for around Rs30 to get to Chitra Santhe. Not many food options in that area. One can find some restaurants on the Crescent Road. for example Sea Rock restaurant. The Santhe is open from 8 am to 8 pm.
Needs more than 3 hrs to see entirely. Many talented artists are showcasing their work. People are taking photographs and videos without permission. Come early since the rush starts from 11:30 to 12 pm.
If you like paintings .... Crafts and historical places museum .. yu should visit .... Entry fee to museum is only 10 Rs. Inside the museum there are a number of paintings and crafts..... Apart from museum we also visited a exhibition in the same place..
