It is quite beautiful and lively place located in the core of the city which is preferred by the masses for some relaxation and entertainment. Though it is not very big but it has got enough option to spend some quality time. Street food is another speciality of this place as there is lots option to choose from. Transportation is also the plus point of this spot as it is easily accessible from all part of the city.

The diamond looks astonishing at night. Visitors are not allowed inside the park due to covid restrictions but outside the park one can have a walk, hangout with friends and family. There is also a small ground beside the park where one can play badminton, football etc. Food stalls are also present (only in evening) outside the park.

It's a family park. Small but well maintained with greenary all around. The fountains are the main attraction here. Good place for early morning and evening walk. It's timing are 5am to 8am in the morning and 5pm to 8pm in the evening. It also has gym all in one equipment which is free for public. One can find the various street foods outside the main gate.

Awesome park. Lighting effect are great. This little park is adorned with nicely maintained lush lawns, beautiful flowers and attractive fountains. The park has been named in the memory of JRD Tata's eldest son, Sir Dorabji Tata, and is famous for hosting an annual flower show in the month of December. Situated in Jamshedpur's Northern Town area, the park makes for a great picnic spot, where tourists can soak in tranquility. Located right opposite the famous Keenan Stadium, the park is also a hub for street-food lovers. Every evening, numerous food stalls are set up outside the park that offer lip-smacking delicacies. The park also houses an open-air gymnasium, which is flocked by locals during the wee hours of the morning. The imposing statue of Sir Dorabji Tata adds to the beauty of the park. Visitors can now experience, the amphitheater within the Diamond Pavilion for a moment of reflection and quiet. The central space is for the visitors to feel the magnificence of the diamond from within and not just as a showpiece seen from afar. This park was created to commemorate the contribution of Sir Dorabji Tata to the country, the city of Jamshedpur. It was designed as a vibrant recreational space for the citizens of Jamshedpur. Originally, when we used to visit it the park had two rose gardens, three fountains, and a life-size statue of Sir Tata. The "Jhalmuri wala" used to come and ask every parent sitting near the fountain, enjoying every bit of the view. What a nostalgic evening we have spent there. After 25 years, the park was re-envisioned rewinding all our memories from the past 25 years. "During the up-gradation of Modi park, I used to think that how will the new one will look? Will it still have the childhood touch? But on the inauguration day, we encountered the newest version of our "Modi Park". A statue of Lady Meherbai Tata, wife of Sir Tata, has been added, along with a spectacular steel tubular structure and pavilion to capture the legacy of the famous Jubilee Diamond. Let me tell you a short story behind this new transformation. Sir Dorabji Tata, was the elder son of Tata Group founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata and Herabai Tata. Sir Dorabji Tata believed that wealth must be put to constructive use. In November 1924, he pledged his own and his wife's fortunes, which included the famous Jubilee Diamond, to keep the steel venture afloat when it slipped into financial trouble and there was no money to even pay the wages of employees. Less than a year after his wife Lady Meherbai Tata's demise, Sir Tata bequeathed most of his wealth comprising substantial shareholdings in various Tata enterprises, landed property, and his wife's jewelry to the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, the largest philanthropic entity in India. The resplendent "Diamond" Structure and Pavilion capturing the legacy of the famous "Jubilee Diamond" is enabled by Tata Structure.

The park is in sakchi beside the JRD stadium. The park has a big diamond shaped structure made up of the steel and iron in the middle. It's a family park and the name was originated from sir dorabaji tata. It's name like - Diamond park, Sir Dorabaji Tata park. We enjoyed a lot here. You can chill here in the evening. Sunday it's closed.
