Chillax Vagamon Hotel - Hotel in Vagamon - Idukki, India

The rooms are spacious and well furnished. But need more attention on cleanliness and pest control. There are roaches in the room, which made our stay awkward . The apartment doesn't have a stove and kitchenettes. The location is very good, markets and restaurants are within walking distance. Staff are good. The breakfast is included by default. Pool is maintained in good condition, but waiting/seating area is not available as in the photos around it.

Central location. Extremely courteous and friendly staff. Hats off to them. The infra and ameneties could use some repairs & upgrades, especially the hot water which we wished desperately to be hotter, as it was just about room temprature. Other things like curtain rods, locks, wardrobe, etc seemed like they may break-down at any moment. Otherwise decent rooms and helpful staff made our trip amazing.

We stayed 1 night at chillax. Nice gesture from staffs. Food was ok and affordable. Room are specious but need some maintenance on doors, latches and locks. Pool was nice well placed on the roof...

Very bad experience from the staff as we reached there by 1:45am and the reception shutter was closed when i tried their number no one responded as we got another number from google and when they picked up they told me they have timing for check in ie from 2pm to 10pm, the comedy is i booked the room at 11:30pm. I told them if you have checkin time you should mention that in mmt or booking ahould not be available after 10pm. After waiting 25mins a boy came from inside and open the shutter and that person behaved very well. So if your coming late night don't book this hotel from my experience. As i booked for hotel because of late nyte checkin. The thing is that person told me all the rooms are booked and also the staffs are not there to open the shutter. Such an irresponsible person.

Chillax Vagamon Hotel is an average hotel with limited facilities, The one highlighted thing about the hotel is the location, the hotel is located in Vagamon town, and it's easily accessible. The rooms are small and do not maintain hygiene, bed linens and pillows are old and feel uncomfortable, moreover, the washroom taps are broken. Overall the stay with Chillax Vagamon Hotel was disgusting, we felt this was an overpriced hotel. The staff are not professional and the service was dreadful.

Someone stole a pair of nearly new black leggings from our balcony, this incident really disturbed us. The staff were nice and prompt, but when it came to this incident they hardly tried helping us. The rooms were decent but could be far far better. Dinner not being available was a slight inconvenience. The breakfast provided on one of the days was idiyappam and half of them were only half cooked. The swimming pool area is also good but better waiting/seating area required around it.

We booked 5 rooms at 2200 inr each. Got to know thats over priced for sub standard facilities. The property needs maintainence every where. The sofa was broken, the hooks in the bathroom was broken, the windows havent been cleaned in ages. The only saving grace was the swimming pool, despite the over chlorinised water. Totally do not recommend expecially if travelling with kids.
