Chengannur Railway Station platform No. 2&3 - Railway services in Chengannur - Alappuzha, India

One of the busiest station due to Sabarimala pilgrims and has been declared as 'Gateway of Sabarimala' by Indian Railways in 2009 . Chengannur railway station is the nearest rail station to reach famous pilgrimage places like Sabarimala, Pandalam, Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple, Parumala Church, Maramon.. etc. Taxis are available at any time and public bus transportation service are nearby. The station was properly maintained, and the platform facilities were in good condition. Clear signage and announcements, which made it convenient to find my way around. The overall experience at Shoranur Railway Station was great. Toilets, bathrooms and restrooms are provided by service fee. We used travel to tirur and the trip was great.

I have visited chengannur Railway station recently. Chengannur railway stations has only platforms and each and every station clean and wash rooms also hygiene. One of the best station I have ever seen. And staff also very supportive and talking with passengers very comfortable and polite. They are announcing coach position also every for every Train. Staff also asking each passenger and telling platform number coach position. In chengannur railway station having power lot of power sockets for charging. And many of fans. When talking to security we can stay with out tension. Good police mans here. I stayed one complete night in this station due train delayed. I felt very much comfortable here.

The station has improved a lot from the last time I visited in 2016. The facilities have improved a lot and they have underground connectivity to the platforms. With a lot of devotees coming every year the facilities in regards to retiring rooms/ waiting rooms. And the cleanliness can also be looked upon. The station is located opposite the private bus stand. And the railway station also has the sabarimala bus service just outside. Which is really heartening to see.

A small railway station with good facilities.. Clean and neat rest rooms, auto, bus, and taxi stands are just near to the railway station.

One of the best railway station in Kerala. Ample parking space . Neat and clean station.

Very good and clean station, nice views at the platform end, no rush, announcement made accurately more over travelers if want to buy any food stuff can utilize the stalls there and all clean and hygiene. Support staff is also friendly
