Beautiful and a calm lake. Very green and rich with flaura and fauna. Not famous but a treat to the eyesight if you are a nature lover.. evenings are more magical to look at the beautiful scenery. Can easily walk and reach the location from the main road and is easily accessible to the bus stop too. There are many stray dogs in the vicinity but they won't bother you unless you do anything otherwise but have to be a bit mindful. Water levels are decent enough. Enjoy a beautiful walk in nature here.
Peaceful lake with nice scenic beauty with good walking and jogging tracks along the lake. The periphery of the lake is about 1km, so each round of walk/jog will give you exactly 1km range around the lake. Wide variety of birds here and I have seen few people only for the sake of bird watching. There are even 3-4 peacocks who have made this lake island their home along with other birds. This is helpful for people even without the smart watches to know how many kms they have walked/jogged for that day. Beware of mosquitoes, snakes and insects which is normally expected around a natural enclosure.
Clean lake in Bangalore, Can spot a lot of fishes, Water is dirty but not so polluted. But can be improved better. Our part is not to litter or disturb the natural habitat. Lots of dogs at the entrance can be aggressive sometimes. I enjoyed a beautiful quite morning walk. The fishes actually surprised me which could be seen so clear. The ducks also can be spotted.
Beautiful lake with a paved tree covered walkway around the lake. Lake is dominated by two large islands inside it. Water looks dirty but doesn't seems to be polluted (there is an STP and two areas for natural filtration before water gets into the lake). Lots of fishes in the lake. As in any other lakes you can spot Cormorants, Herons, Egrets, Brahmny/Black Kites, Little Grebes, Coucal, Koel and Mynah's in the lake. What was additional was the sighting of a peacock inside the island in the lake.Large pack of dogs inside the lake (probably more than 20), many looking aggressive - may prove to be a menace to the walkers pretty soon ..
Nice place for a walk. Nice running track. Just be aware of dogs specially if you taking kids

A very quiet and cosy atmosphere. The circumference of the lake is 1.2 kilometres only. There are some things to be fixed like pavement, track, etc. A very good arena for quick and brisk walks.

A beautiful place which is clean and green. Walking path is wide throughout with regular sitting benches. There is play area, washroom, sitting benches with roof and excellent views of the water. You can find ducks and birds too.
