Chatam jetty is an important place for to & fro to bamboo flat. For all daily commuters it's a lifeline as it saves time. Situated just behind the chatam saw mill.

I travel daily so yeah I like the morning fresh view and the lovely evening atmosphere.
It connects us to the other groups of islands..way to bamboo flat.. Usually rush is seen, boat have particular timings.. you can carry your four or two wheeler along the way..10-15 mins route..but might get delayed if you are in a ferry boat. Alternative route by bus is also available but it time consuming. I had a good experience to visit that group of islands try exploring that side of South Andaman too
We boarded a boat to Bamboo flat jetty to go to Mount Harriet National Park. The frequency of the boats is good. So you won't have to wait for long.
