This mahabodhi society temple was inaugurated by jawaharlal nehru, and contains relics of shariputra and maudgalanya, two main disciples of the Buddha. It is just next to Sanchi stupa. On the walls are beautiful paintings from the life of the Buddha. It also has a small bookshop. It closes at 5 pm. It's quite peaceful, good atmosphere to sit and meditate. No photos are allowed inside.
Another UNESCO world heritage site, the sanchi stupa is an extraordinary place due it's magnificence and grandeur. The main stupa is great work of art and architecture with engravings related to life of Buddha and his teachings. Other than the stupa there are other smaller stupas as well and temples. It's near to Bhopal , around 40-45 kms.
Very nice temple in the uphill. Very calm and devotional environment inside the temple. Inside the temple art work describes about buddha. Small stall containing books, statue, wooden work materials is there.
It's owsome place if you want to see actual crowd then you should come in November last sat and Sunday.. Other wise it's nice to come August the seen is owsome ticket price is 40rs in cash 35rs in card for adults. And for guide 475rs it will take around 1.5 hours to explain each and wvery thing

Located at Sanchi hill. The place is beautiful for meditation. In the centre hall a Budha statue is kept. It's being maintained by Sri Lankan government.
One of the best place for tourism and you will get reliefness and tensionfree environment there.
It's a good place to visit.a peace full experience.
I was here on a college trip and the first and foremost thing we did was we all cleaned-up the litter around this monument. As I love visiting historical places I will totally recommend this place to a history geek . One thing that amazed me the most
Beautiful historical unesco world Heritage Site. Well maintained near 8km from vidisha. A very good place for family and friends. Everybody must visit this site.

It's Location is on walking distance to the monument. They even have an e-golf cart to provide you with a tour. The restaurant is good nice tasty food is available.service is good.
