Budget friendly, friendly staff members and a cosy place to chill out. Noon time can be a rush as the majority of the customers are mostly college students. Closed on Sundays! If you visit Shillong in the vicinity of Laitumkhrah, Chaiops is a place you can't miss. Special Masala Chai & Butter Cheese Maggie is my all time fave.

Must Visit Place Read for more info On 16 feb @chaiops_shillong launched their new cafeteria in Laitumkhrah near Domino's Must say the place is for everyone. Awesome location. More then 100 Dishes and 20+ tea varieties . With their range of dishes and beverage they have just raised the level. Few Points we noticed in which they lead 1. Location: the location of the cafeteria is super awesome. Its on the first floor, youngsters can sit over roadside facing tables and can chill over a chai.. 2. Pocket Friendly Range: Starting from 50 to your limit anyone can have whatever they want . Starting a chai from Rs15 . 3. Eco Friendly approach: they are using bamboo spoon and paper straws instead of plastic which is easy to go.. Even sticks used in burger to keep the layer straight, is actually roasted Speghetti . I was amazed when i ate those sticks.. check in picture. It shows why a brand grows and it creates a brand identity while distinguishing. Quick review what we had. We took their best tea, (Paan Tea) and it has became my favourite chai.. you should definitely try it. Burger was ok.. nothing less nothing more at the price. French Fries were also good enough.. But yes do try their paan chai and share your review with us.. We are just more than happy that they came to shillong, will try to find out more to recommend you.. The cafe for all the chai and coffee lovers in Shillong. This cafe is the best cafe in entire Laitumkhrah circuit for tea. The best part about the cafe is that it is very cost efficient and doesn't compromise on quality of the items. A very warm place with a very nice ambience to spend your evenings with your friends. Staff and the owners are really friendly and warm as well. Went to Chaiops every single day when I was in Shillong .

It is a nice cafe. You can spend some good time there.

presentation - 10/10 Nachos with Chicken was too dry, could've offered dips/cheese. They were also all crumbled up. The Chicken Alfredo Pasta was bland in my opinion. A garlic bread with the pasta would have elevated the dish.

Absolutely horrible. I wouldn't wish the iced tea from this place on my worst enemy. It tasted like I was drinking liquid sewage. When we complained to the staff, their response was to just tell us to stir it. Seriously? That's their solution to serving a drink that's not fit for human consumption? I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

The place looks nice, but a little bit unkempt and on the grotty side for our liking. The pizza was good 4/5 The tea was just ok 2/5 The dumplings were just fine and edible 2/5 The pasta was fine, the chicken that comes with it was a bit chewy 3/5 And the nachos (2/5) were just your normal departmental store nachos, but the salsa dip was good. Overall experience 2.6/5

Sooner or later i can see this place shutting down because of the behaviour of the staff...everything is fine out there..tea is amazing...space is comfortable...but staff...zero hospitality...you might love it out there but because of the staff you might not want to visit the cafe again...
