It is very well weather conditions and good environment for BSC, MCA, Engineer, BTECH MTECH etc,. It also have a canteens as well which provides clean and tasty food. Nearly 200m of university main gate there is restaurant which is good source of food for both girl and boys. Road are very good for vehicle. 24/ 7 guard are there to keep the campus safe. The new construction of building is in minatu , it will add more value to the university I cannot describe it as still it under construction.. But it seems tall and vast building designed. And way....many more advantages..... Thank you

Not a full fledged university, it's a work in progress since a decade, probably one of the worst place to study but better than state university. Bad transport, average food, few faculty are good but lots of administrative work to burden students. You might lose your interest in academics here. Faculties are polarized on extremes, except few, most enjoy buttering & gossip & politics. Those who have written lush green campus are talking about hostel, the main campus is a deserted, isolated, no facility place. I don't understand how indian students get so obliged, what make them do so? Student levels is also average. Worst place to be a scholar in social science or humanities.

Let me tell you the truth. There are no universities in india if you are looking for pure academics. It simply doesn't exist. The primary concern of most of the below average faculty in CUJ is to make money by hook or crook. So if you want to make money , then any university or college is good. It's a brothel everywhere. And one can understand that because there are few jobs. Too much population . One cannot complain about average faculty in the end.

I love the environment of the college. The green trees, peaceful surrounding has to my heart.One the best institute of Jharkhand. Here you can get course from UG to PhD.Arts, science, commerce all streams are available here.

After Visiting this University I feel it's worth to say it's unparallel University on the basis of level of education, Infrastructure, affordability, faculty and intellectual ambience. The University started with a vision to specially focus on relevant present age educational drives with an emphasis on research in cutting edge technologies. It offers Under Graduate, Post graduate and Ph.D. programmes in Schools/Departments of studies. The University is open to new ideas in course curricula and research proposals, collaboration, interaction and capacity building programmes. Being located in Jharkhand, the study of culture is the thrust area of the University as manifested in Centre for Indigenous Culture Studies, Centre for Tribal & Customary Law, Centre for Tribal Folklore, Music & Performing Arts. The CUJ Faculty have been awarded National and International Fellowships, project funding and recognition and are constantly contributing to the Government Sector, Public and Private Sector organisations through teaching and consulting. Campus The present campus of the University is located at Brambe, a 25 km drive from Ranchi city, in the State of Jharkhand, India. It located in 45 acres beautiful and vibrant green campus, with classrooms and hostels blending well with the environment. The classroom complex is located inside a mango orchard and the hostels are surrounded by tall Sal trees. In order to preserve the trees, one can find some tree inside the rooms and growing through the roofs. The State Government of Jharkhand allotted a 510-acre land to the University for its Permanent Campus at Cheri-Manatu, about 10 km off main city, construction work has started with a plan to create a campus worth visiting and staying in.

The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is a central intensive research university located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It was established in 2009 as per the Parliament of India and is recognized as an University of national importance by the University Grants Commission CUJ was established in 2009 under the first schedule of the Central Universities Act, 2009. The first and founding Vice Chancellor (VC), Darlando Khathing, was appointed 1 March 2009.Consequent upon culmination of his tenure in March 2014, he was replaced by acting vice chancellor A.N. Misra. Prof. Misra served as acting VC until the appointment of Nand Kumar Yadav Indu as permanent VC in August 2015. On completion of his term, Prof. Ratan Kumar Dey served as the acting VC for almost a year. Currently, Prof. Kshiti Bhusan Das is heading the university. The University has two operational campuses (temporary campus and permanent campus). The Brambe campus (temporary) is a 46 acre transit campus located about 25 kms from the heart of Ranchi city. It includes 70 independent class rooms and teaching labs, a 450-seat auditorium, research labs for sciences, engineering workshops and computer lab. The university provides on-campus accommodation to students (total capacity 1000 boys and girls in separate hostels). The Cheri-Manatu campus (permanent) is a 500 acre campus located 17 kms from the epicenter of Ranchi city. Its infrastructure is developing rapidly. The administrative activities, undergraduate classes, and non-laboratory based departments are operational from this campus. Separate hostel for boys/girls and library are also located in this campus. Except a few departments, undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs are offered by almost all academic units of the University. Admission to undergraduate and post-graduate programmes is done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), whereas for doctoral degree, it is based either on UGC/CSIR NET examination or test conducted by University, after which a mandatory interview in convened. The University also offers part-time Ph.D. programme. The classes are operational at both the campuses as per location of the academic department.
