Cavala Resort - Heritage Style Portuguese Property - Resort hotel in Calangute, Baga - North Goa, India

I had a fantastic time at this resort during my 4-day stay with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after our adventures. The highlight was the on-site restaurant, which served delicious meals, and their breakfast spread was a great way to start our days. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the Friday night music event, which added a vibrant atmosphere to the resort. We danced and had a blast! One of the best features of this resort is its affordability, making it a perfect choice for budget-conscious travelers. Plus, its proximity to Baga Beach and the vibrant nightlife of the area was a big bonus. We could easily access the beach and explore the local bars and clubs. Overall, I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and cost-effective Goan experience. It's a fantastic place to stay with friends, offering great amenities, entertainment, and a convenient location near Baga Beach and the lively nightlife scene.

Overall the experience was good , but few improvements can be considered. 1. there should be communicator in the room. 2. Breakfast menu has a limited selection such as puri bhaji as veg and egg for non veg choices.there should be buffet with a variety of food items. 3.there is not even clock in the room.

I stayed in Cavala for 3 days with my best friend and it was a memorable one. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The location is in a peaceful place and yet with close proximity to Baga beach and all the night life. Each and every member of the staff is so warm and helpful. The Friday night live band with retro music of 80's was like a cherry on the cake. Special thanks to the manager Shabana as she was so interactive with us and also went out of the way to ensure we got what we needed, and, also thanks to the bar tender Amit as his wonderful service and smiling face on our last day, made us feel at home. I will definitely come back and stay here with my family.

Cavala for me was not just a hotel, it was an experience. The amazing Friday night band that made you groove...(I didn't want to leave the place, but unfortunately I had plans) and the amazing weekend mornings with an amazing pianist, who played the classics and set the mood...and you were most welcome to sing with him. In short, it was a musical place...Rooms were nice and comfortable, service was fine too...lovely breakfast and a very friendly and welcoming staff.

Stayed at Cavala, went with a group of friends and what a great experience we had. Clean rooms and bathrooms, with friendly staff willing to help you. Breakfast was limited but good without food wastage. Strongly recommend for friends and groups who want to live in heart of Baga.

Cavala is an excellent resort to spend a few days with family. We stayed there for a week and had a peaceful and lovely time . The rooms are clean with good amenities. The food is excellent with decent variety. The staff is polite and alway ready to assist. Shabaana who manages the place always checks with guests for feedback to improve on facilities and make their stay comfortable. They have a great band which livens up the place on Friday nights. Surely worth visiting and spending a leisurely vacation.

Rooms were neat and clean. And very very very beautiful. Housekeeping Staff was really friendly and helpful. Location of Cavala is just perfect. Shabana and all the staff there welcomed us very sweetly. The only issue we faced during the stay was they didn't have any extensions in rooms from which we could call housekeeping or the restaurant and the contact no. that were provided, nobody was picking up those calls. We requested for some plates and cutlery at night during out stay, firstly nobody picked up our call from the restaurant, and then they said that if you want cutlery, you will have to come here (at the restaurant) and pick it up by yourself which i found really rude. We had booked 2 suite rooms and paid a pretty good amount for our stay but the services provided were not up to the mark. Our checkin time was at 1pm and they provided it to us at 3pm due to some technical issues which is fine, but then on the day of checkout they could've given us an extension of few hours for 1 hour but they didn't!! Other than that everything was perfect, they put our luggage at a secure place on the day of checkout and helped us to the fullest in the evening when we left from cavala.

One of the most beautiful property to visit in Goa, the ambience and the untouched historic vibe of the place speaks for itself, with the most amazing host and hospitality. Their Friday's nights are filled with great music and people. Special thanks to Shabana, the host for making it so friendly and hospitable for us.
