Cafe Royale Gangtok - Coffee shop in Gangtok - East District, India

This cafe provides great food for a reasonable price. Most of the preparation like chili pork, fried rice, momo are great. The decor is all great. Service needs improvement. it's very slow. Overally a great place to eat for tourists and a great hangout place.

Great food, a very reasonable price, and a nice atmosphere. Had a huge bowl of beef Thukpa and pork Mo Mos. Amazing, I was never able to have either of these local favorites in Darjeeling, which was fine as Cafe Royal did such a delicious job that I am glad I waited. My server was good, but like others complained, the food did take a while. I do plan to return before I leave Gangtok.

Exquisite place along with luscious food, 10 min walk from MG mark, loved mushroom chilli and pizza at this place. Owner as well as staff members are quite friendly. You won't regret coming to this place. The ambiance is awesome at this place. Sometime bands do perform at this place. Being a coffee person I would definitely ask you to try coffee at this place too.

Food was truly delicious. Their homemade Sausage bowl was dense, flavorful and spicy. The beef chili was strips of beef in an excellent spice. The pizza was like the pizza we had in Venice. The crust was thin, smelled of fresh bread, the cheese was stretchy and the toppings were perfectly fresh and delicious. We ordered burgers and they were outstanding. We ordered another two pizzas and only ate one before we were full. Packed the other one to go and it was good cold. The drinks were in smaller glasses but the cold coffee was very strong so don't let the the size fool you. Definitely will go back again and it was cheaper than some of the other places we have been to. Felt like it was set in a rainforest. Worth going out of MG Marg.

First time and later I had visited for couple of times in Cafe Royale and It's the cutest little spot with amazing food and delightful ambiance. Food, Music and Service are really great. Every staff members are helpful and friendly. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Excellent local food in Gangtok and amazing service!

It was the first time that I had visited recommended by my colleague. The first thing I notice is the ambiance which is nice and cozy filled with books. There was no event and karaoke had to know it would be operational only during crowds. Well, it's a pocket-friendly cafe had come for a lunch and must say the food was awesome, especially the fried rice and pork dry fry which I loved the most. Highly recommended this hidden cafe at Kazi road which is very close to my workplace must visit it and would like to come again.
