Cafe Chica, Abbotsford Heritage Hotel - Cafe in Nainital, Naina Range - Kumaon, India

With a fitting backdrop of mountains and seatings over a beautiful garden this is one perfect place to enjoy a peaceful breakfast..the host here was warm and friendly had a great chat with her while waiting for food to get served. Ordered coffee, crepes, tomato cheese sandwich and garlic bread and it was very simple and authentic in taste..do remember this is an outdoor cafe so place shuts down by after noon..very pleased with the entire experience .

Cafe chica offer a good view, feel of quaint heritage place and beautiful landscape as an added bonus. The time we came at the cafe it was heavily raining.. so the outside seating was closed and we sat on beautiful porch.. Met chica as well..and had good interaction with the owner. Ppl are genuine and warm ... one can try out for an experience.

I recently visited this place. This place is very close to nainital high court. Accessible by car and bike. I reached by bike taxi. But once you reach this place, you will feel like being in a very offbeat hill station. They maintained the place very beautifully. I was first confused after reaching because this place was looked like a personal property far beyond what usual cafe looked. Exactly like the photos. I spent like 2/3hrs because I needed a quiet place to work in my system. And it was the perfect, no usual crowd of Nainital. Surrounded by green mountains. Otherwise it was very difficult to find a peaceful cafe in main Nainital. I ordered pizza, tea and lemonade. Pizza was perfect for one person and taste was good. I was super surprised by seeing the service. The price is slightly on higher side but not that much if you compare the services. its too coming with such a great service and location. Any good ambience restaurant in city usually charge much higher. One suggestion: if you want to visit this property, call them and reserve your table in advance. Because they don't want to make the vibe of this property a crowded commercial place. They are maintaining the heritage vibe of the property. Appreciate that effort.

I most awaited place. best for the eco friendly ambience and the delicious food fortunately I have visited this place in year 2016 with my beloved since I was finding this place in between then again. somehow I recollect my memories and decided to visit this beautiful place. We were welcomed by the beautiful smiling lady who allocated us a beautiful table in the center of the garden. I just love the hospitality. I have huge memories with this place. Very well maintained hotel cafe' .. If you will talk about the food that's remarkable.we were delayed this time.but still I have started with Soup tomato & carrot Spinach creme with garlic bread Pasta Aglio olio (spaghetti) Pizza Oven Pizza pepperoni . That was awesome. Planning to visit again with my wife

Pathetic food !!!! . Wouldn't recommend to anyone at all. We ordered pizza,chocolate shake, baked vegetables, garlic bread and some other stuff. I have attached pictures of food below, Just look at the garlic bread and pizza. 4 white breads with butter was served in the name of garlic bread. About the Pizza, the base was undercooked ready made base. Baked vegetables and shakes were pathetic, we left the food like that, we didn't even had half of it ! Charging bomb for bad food should be a crime I have never had such bad experience ever. Only the view and location is beautiful. That's it. Everything else not at all recommended!

Absolutely loved the experience.. it is a must visit place if you are travelling to Nainital. Great food with amazing vibes. Loved the service. the owner is very helping and welcoming. she suggests good food But didn't like the pasta we ordered. However, we were compensated with a great dessert as a complimentary dish on the house.

We went to Cafe Chica during our stay in Nainital. Loved the place a lot, ended up going there twice in two days. Great hospitality and extremely helpful staff. The food was delicious, recommend you to try the Apple crumble with ice cream along with Pepper roast chicken and Arrabiata penne.

The property is stunning , I would say one of the best in Nainital , but they need to work upon food. White sauce pasta had chopped onions in it and chicken with fries were delicious but bit oiled. The outdoor lawn is the only place for having meal , if you're outsider but that lawn and seating arrangement will make you click some pictures.
