Cafe Ashvem - Cafe in Mandrem - North Goa, India

Good cafe with a bright and welcoming ambience, great for photo session. Most of the crowd we saw here were Russians or other nationals. We had Tandoori Red Snapper which was excellent. Pork burger was bit disappointing as there was no meaty flavours all the while it tasted like a veg burger. The coffee latte was fresh and flavourful. There is no dedicated parking, and the road in front is not very wide, so parking is at your own risk. Washrooms were spotless clean. I think I'll come back once more with a worked out appetite.

Useless place for breakfast. We asked for English breakfast and waiter replied they don't have but they have a platter and includes assorted items along with a coffee/tea of choice. When we are served there was a portion of watermelon, few baked potato slices, and egg burji. Post the meal when we asked if they don't serve bread, to which waiter replied they actually ran out of bread. We were so angry that he hasnt bothered to even inform about that. Not going again to such a place.

If you're in a hurry do not visit this place. The service is really slow, it would take them about 30 minutes to get you a beverage you ordered and the food would come out 10 minutes later at least in my case. Tried out their "Chicken Cafreal Sandwich" which wasn't even close to what it's actually supposed to taste like.

When we (my family and I) went, there was one other table there. Service was quite slow and the food was okay. Everything was at an okay spice level (geared to more of the foreign tourists that come). After 15 mins, we went to go pay for the bill at the counter to find that a service worker was playing games on his phone near the bar counter. I know that the cafe practically deserted however, I cannot cut that worker any slack. Like some other concerns about their seafood, I understand it now.

Very very pathetic, slow service. Order breakfast & then eat at lunch time, it is that slow. Very average Food. We tried Hookaah also, nothing good about it, not smooth. I wish there was an option of -negative rating.

At the place right now, it's been nearly an hour and we haven't gotten our food yet. Poor service I amam experiencing. However, the food was top class. Maybe order then come back after a while. If you have enough time, definitely stop by.

This place is really amazing as it offers a wide variety of dishes which are worth the price as well as delicious. The atmosphere is also pleasing. The staff of the cafe are very cooperative.

Located opposite to Ashwem beach, this place serves good quality food for pocket friendly prices. Place has minimal interiors and well maintained. A must visit if your around arambol. Staffs are courteous. They have inhouse bar as well. Which is cheaper than your other shacks and they serve hookah as well. Worth a try, their sandwiches and burgers are huge and tasted heavenly. This place is very underrated though.
