Hotel is very homely. It's a budget stay

CAM hotel has opened another property opposite to the existing one. This property has excellent accommodation with AC, Geyser & sufficient car parking. Its kitchen too where one can cook for long duration stays. Easily accessible to the town as well as the two hills

My wife and I stayed on 22nd and 23rd January, 2020. We had booked a non-AC room with a Western toilet. There appears to be only one such room. The room did not have a wash basin and looked very unkempt and dirty. The bed linen was changed only after we asked for a change. You have to go out and call out for any room service. No hot water facility in the room. A bucket of hot water is given on payment of RS.10 per bucket. The bathroom was unwashed and dirty. Most basic hotel. I wouldn't go a second time. May be the AC room is better.

Strategically located on the road leading to the mountain. Clean rooms, crisp bed linen, safe to stay with your family, good air conditioner and clean bathroom. Kids enjoyed the ambience. They have both AC and Non AC rooms. And ample parking.

CAM Motel has reasonable rate single rooms, but the AC room (double bed one) could have been better. Has convenient car parking. Has good view of the Temple. At convenient location from Thakkan Kulam and Temple hill steps. Overall a very good place.

Whenever we visit Sholingur, we stay here. This Motel has both A/C and Non A/C rooms fitted with TVs. Only one suite room is available and private/separate guest rooms are also available. Bathrooms aren't clean and door mats are also murky which needs to be taken care. Rest staff and others are courteous.

Hotel is very close to the temple. You feel like you are in your native place with cattle and agri lands surrounded. Do not expect like start hotels with luxury amenities. It is decent to stay.

This motel is at the foot of the hill. That is the only plus point, We had booked for 2 a/c double bedrooms before leaving Chennai. The rooms were dirty. Cobwebs all over the room. The bathroom does not have a washbasin also. The a/c was not working. There was no response from the only staff there. The bedsheet and pillow case were reeking with the smell of oil. Had a bitter experience.
