Byrasandra Lake - Lake in Bengaluru - default, India

The place is occupied by lots of water birds including migratory birds as there's a lake inside. But humans show their cruelty towards nature by throwing waste into the park. The park is under renovation and looks much better than before.

Went for cleaning of lake as a part of social responsible from JP Morgan . Restored this park and got to see history of this lake from many people there. Salute to this people who saved this lake from many people . Cool place for walking, jogging along side of park.

Surrounded by ugly looking apartment and buildings, Byrasandra lake is under renovation and seems to be recovering.. Currently lots of work seems to have been done for the cleanup and there is some water in the lake (along with Eurasian coots). There is a natural filtering area also setup to clean the water coming into the lake. Good tiled walkway around the lake. It would soon turn to a good spot once trees are planted around.

This dead lake bed has been redone and rejuvenated well to make it a walkers paradise. Water level in the lake bed has also picked up well and there are different species of birds visiting this place making it so soothing for the people who like such a atmosphere. Visit this place if you are in the vicinity.

Superb place for hangout for morning and evening walk

Decent place for morning or evening walks.. less crowded

It's open Jan'23 last month by our MLA ,Mr. S Raghu. You can see birds playing in lake, cleaning is the most important thing for all. Time for entry 8 to 10 am and 4 to 6 pm. No carry bags allow in this park. It's very nice place to spend time, photography and yoga, jogging. Please visit.
