This place is for the ones who love trekking, but don't have much time for it. There are trekking spots in different places there The trails are clear. Sunset and sunrises are ultimate here . Recently visited during the day but 4years ago I had visited during the sunset time and it was ultimate that time , we feel like we are above the clouds. Not so steep but gravels makes it difficult in slopes . Too many leeches during monsoon. Best place for beginners. We will get some experience of life here . Highest peak in Kodagu . I suggest you to wear a good trekking shoes , some fruits , water and glucose during your trek

Brahmagiri, is a mountain range in the Westernghats of South India, situated on the border between Kodagu district in Karnataka and wayanad district of Kerala, elevation of 1,608 m (5,276 ft). You can visit this place from two side , From Karnataka , iruppu falls is the starting point and from Kerala, thirunelli temple is the start point. From the both side permission is mandatory and pls take the confirmation before you visit because this is highly sensitive area and trek can be restricted any time in case of wild life movement in the trail trail and also during the rainy season. Carry water and other eatables in case required. There are huge number of leeches on the trail plan accordingly.

Nature is just nature. All that greenery is so soothing to the eyes. The trek is well chalked out , so one can go to the peak and hike back without any guide. Takes about 3 hours to reach the peak. Word of advice to all, make sure you carry enough water. It's easy access from the village kakabe in the coorg district. The total hike trail was about 6 kms of which one can drive off 2kms or so. When we went they are laying a concrete strip for this distance. Also ! Carry UV protection eyewear or simply wear caps.

Best place to enjoy nature must visit Brahmagiri Park is a wildlife sanctuary located in the Kodagu district of Karnataka, India. It is spread over an area of 105 km2 and is known for its dense forests, rich biodiversity, and the Talakaveri Temple, which is considered to be the source of the River Kaveri. The park is a popular tourist destination, especially for those who enjoy nature and wildlife. The best time to visit Brahmagiri is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and there is less rainfall. The park can be visited during the monsoon season (June to September), but it is important to be aware of the leeches and other insects that are more active during this time. Here is a list of items to pack for a trip. Comfortable clothing for trekking and exploring the park Rain gear, especially if you are visiting during the monsoon season Sunscreen and insect repellent A hat, sunglasses, and a scarf to protect yourself from the sun A camera to capture the park's beauty A water bottle and snacks "Do not litter or damage the park's vegetation.
