I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Botanical Garden, also known as the Lady Hydari Park, in Shillong, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. I would give it a well-deserved 5-star rating! Spread over a sprawling area of 1.5 km, The Botanical Garden is a haven of natural beauty. The variety of flora and fauna found here is simply mesmerizing. Walking through the garden, I was amazed by the diverse range of trees, shrubs, and flowers, including the stunning orchids and rhododendrons. The garden's vibrant colors and fragrant aromas truly enchanted me. What sets The Botanical Garden apart is its thriving wildlife. The garden is home to numerous species of birds and butterflies, adding a touch of liveliness to the surroundings. It's a paradise for nature lovers, offering countless opportunities to observe and appreciate the wonders of the animal kingdom. Nothing great about it than the great old towering trees. It's a small place and without a guide to add to our knowledge, it's not an exciting place to visit.

Ward's Lake and Botanical garden of Shillong is so beautiful. The place is so calm and quiet. You can sit here for many hours and enjoy the scenic beauty of this place.

This botanical garden have so many plants and a lake with ducks. Here i mat a women, she have a beautiful north east child. I always remember her within my beautiful memories in northeast. This was one of the beautiful garden.there have a beautiful jhula decorated with plants. Such a peaceful atmosphere.

Its a wonderful experience going to this lake its like a park you can hang around and believe me you will get the best photos of you if you are photoholic.... there is boating available then there is the clicking of photos by their traditional dress. Do visit its a nice place.....

A perfect place to spend time. Green spread everywhere, a lake in the middle with boating facility. Ducks playing in the lake. Beautiful flowers will change your mind to good. Nice place to visit.
