Borajan Bherjan Podumoni Wildlife Sanctuary - National forest in Chikajan Gaon - Tinsukia, India

As you enter the forest by road it seems like entering the Amazon rain forest. Though spread in a very little area, the forest does gives a glimpse of typical rain forest. Very tall trees wet in all weather are very close to the road. The trees of both sides of the road meet each other at the top and the sunlight hardly reaches to the earth. This is just awesome.

Not well preserved. We use this route to travel to Maguri beel as a shorter passage and it is mostly unknown to the outsiders. Though it is declared as wildlife sanctuary, there are hardly any wild habitats living as of now. But one can visit nearby places like Maguri beel and Barekuri Village as well as the Ecocamps in Guijan ghat to best experience the natural beauty.

I'm going several times across this jungle nd I love this place also... but i don't know more about this wildlife sanctuary...

Its a nice sanctuary.. A bit scary at night but can be visited during the daytime

I love this place because of birds and other wildlife sightings.
