Very beautifully located nearby to the golf course area, good for a quick bite and also for a proper meal.
The food is amazing and service is also very good. The first restaurant that I dined in my entire life, which had only lady servers.

Our visit to Blackstone Grill at Mawlai Mawroh was a delightful experience. The restaurant, located on the 3rd floor of a building, offered a charming ambiance. We began our culinary journey with Arabic qahwa, which paired perfectly with the served dates and a refreshing virgin mojito.
The highlight of our meal was the Grilled Lamb Kebab with tahini, accompanied by a delectable mix of grilled onion, and fries. The flavors were exquisite and left us satisfied.
Next up was the Turkish Chicken Shawarma, featuring thinly sliced, marinated, and grilled chicken tucked inside soft Pita Bread. The addition of sliced tomato, carrots, tomatoes, tahini sauce, French fries, and garlic sauce made it an explosion of taste.
While the hummus and pita bread were great, the baklava sweets left a bit to be desired as they weren't the best we've had so far.
To conclude our dining experience, we indulged in a plate of hummus and Turkish coffee, which was a perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
Overall, Blackstone Grill provided an enjoyable dining experience, with its scrumptious dishes and inviting atmosphere.

It is our long awaited family trip to Meghalaya last month. We are blown away from the ambience, thoughtful artistic corridors, elegant furniture's, delectable dishes which is different from regular offerings of Meghalaya and the staffs who do an outstanding service!
It is a Non-vegetarian's paradise. Every dish is cooked to it perfection, authentic. It is the place to be for a good Middle Eastern experience. Special mention to rare found Turkish coffee's, Moroccan Tea and Filter coffees & array of mocktails. Thank you to the entire team of Black Stone Grill and special mention to Akshat, the owner who runs it with grace!
We tried the shorbet adas, hummus kawarma, Turkish lamb shawarma, and the rice pudding (Riz Bi Haleeh). Food was delicious. What stood out to me was the lamb hummus.
Service is attentive, prompt, and friendly.
This beautiful middle-eastern cuisine restaurant situated a few kilometres outside Shillong town is to watch out for. Their food is mind blowing and quite reasonably priced. We ordered two main dishes and a drink and it cost us Rs.840 only. We tried their Al Faham Arabic Grilled Chicken and Grilled Lamb Kebab with Tahina. They have an open kitchen and the food is cooked right in front of you. The service staff were very approachable and were ever smiling. I would recommend everyone to try this cafe once.
One small suggestion: the hummus was a bit dry which can be improved but tasted really good.

Let's start off with the service, the service is very inviting, kind and hospitable. They made sure everything was upto your satisfaction.
The ambiance and decor is also really great, nice music playing in the background but it might be a bit too loud.
The food is great, absolutely great in taste and flavour and it gives us a look into Arabian food. The meat was juicy and tender in every dish. The quantity might not be enough for some people but it's good for the price. The pricing also seems fair. The turkish coffee was great loved it. They also gave some complimentary Hummus and Garlic Mayo with some salad which tasted amazing.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new and I'd definitely be coming back again.
Update: Tried the Biryani(both prawn and chicken) and loved it, very different in my opinion from regular biryani but still loved it, the meat platter had a nice array of delicious meaty delights, the drinks are a must try especially the moroccan and arabian coffee, and last but not least is the delicious baklava for desert.
Ordered quite a number of items, a few appetizers,chicken wings,shawarmas, kebabs and the like. The meat was moist and tender. The hummus was good, so were the numerous refreshments. Must I add, the chicken wings were bigger than expected.Pleasant environment, with a beautiful view.The staff were prompt and friendly. Overall, a satisfying delicious meal. Happy customers.
