Bird Watching Spot - Bird watching area in Arossim - South Goa, India

I hope once this point was known as Bird View Point but in 2022, you don't expect to see birds here, the place is also not maintained nowadays, only few known birds can be seen here. In a single word you may take a look if this point comes in your way otherwise you do not need to visit. I visited the point in Oct.2022

Spent half an hour thos Morning with my DSLR and saw White fronted Kingfisher Stork billed Kingfisher Green beeeater Indian Pond heron Purple Heron Egret little, Egret cattle Egret large Lesser whistling ducks Little grebe Bronze backed jacana ad Bronze backed jacana juv Golden Oriole f green warbler h Asian Joel immature female Jungle crow Common tailorbird h Cormorant

its a quaint place beside a lake full of pink and white water lillies. its not much but if u have a dslr its worth few good shots of birds. i carried my mobile only. can sasily spend half an hour sitting quietly over here.

Please stop and just spend 5 mins here, you will be able to spot so many different birds at a this single place.

#birdwatching was a nice experience, lots of lotus and few birds can be sopetted with out much efforts with naked eyes.

It was a bird view point a few years ago, but in 2023 it was not. It is not maintained well.

Nic place to see greenery and some birds. Cool breezy air during monsoon

Walked by here several times, and seen a number of herons and other birds. Somewhat spooky place.
