Beniram Pyarelal - Famous shop - prsiddh imrtii (shop regd. 1989) - Sweet shop in Jaunpur - Jaunpur, India

It was a sheer delight visiting the famous Beniram Pyarelal Sweets shop in Jaunpur. The heritage shop as it was established in 1885 is known for it's Imartis, the taste was awesome and so was the parwal ki mithai. I also had the good fortune of relishing the barfi and milk cake, both were sumptuous. If you are visiting Jaunpur don't forget to buy the Imartis, I am sure you would love it.

Sweets are delicious. You must try their "Besan ka Laddoo". No one in jaunpur is gonna give the taste that they provide. Owners are very friendly and sweet as their sweets.

Nice sweet shop Imarti and rabdi are dilicious

On my route to Varanasi i bought the famous imarati here for my family. As I have heard a lot about it.. It tastes good. If you are coming to Jaunpur it's a must try sweet.

The 200-year-old Beniram's in Jaunpur persists to churn out flavorful imartis that have people riding a few hundred kilometres to purchase a batch. One can be in Jaunpur for a day to scour the ancient grandeur of the city, but the one thing to be on their mind must be the iconic Beniram ki Imartis. Reaching the 200-year-old shop you can be transported back to another epoch. The imartis are as soft as etched in our memory, mildly sweet and the same dull-brown colour that demonstrates no use of colouring agents. Rakesh Modanwal, the fourth-generation owner of the shop, says proudly that they haven't altered the recipe since his ancestor Beniram opened the shop and they still use the green mixture of urad dal, pure ghee and traditionally purified raw sugar to prepare their imartis. They're so famous that it's familiar for people to drive a few hundred kilometres to buy a batch. Beniram's would be the ancient surviving shop selling imartis, a mithai that emanated in India, unlike the jalebi that arrived from the Middle East, despite their impression.

If you count for the famous things of jaunpur, will definitely hear the name of Beniram ki imarti. Very delicious and mouth watering imarti made in pure deshi ghee. Have been eating since earli 90's, still quality is same. Must taste the famous imaratis before you die. Nearby the famous shahi bridge.
