Beeramale Hill is an attractive Tourism Spot of Puttur. The height of the Hill is around 1000 feet from the Sea Level. The Dooradarshan TV Relay Centre is recently established on this Hill. An open Auditorium, a library are open to public. Sri Vishwakarma Temple is situated on one side of this hill.
One of my favourite hangout place in puttur, we call it as Birumale Gudde. Best place to visit on weekends with your family to the Tree Park too and you can experience the best sunset and sunrise with beautiful view.
Perfect place to feel the evening breeze and glare at Puttur city from above.
Beautiful view of Puttur from 1000ft above sea level. The road to this place is good but narrow. There is a board showing way to "tree park " from the Bangalore Mysore highway. The road is pretty steep and winds through a jungle. First you get the tree park, proceed further and you get a Y road split. You can park here and walk up the road going upwards. This goes to the view point. The place is isolated, so better to leave by 6pm. May not be very safe at night.
The peak of the hill gives a panoramic view of the city. Well paved roads lead you to the highest point of the city, loitered by visitors. Beware of glass pieces left by civilized humans.
It's a hill station, located at heart of PUTTUR city. Beautiful view point. Whenever get bored you can land here. Near you can see salu marada thimmakka park.
But now both beeramale and salu marada thimmakka park is not maintained properly. If maintained it can become good tourist spot. Authority should concentrate towards cleanliness.
The highest point in the city. 196 mtrs. Good views on a clear day, windy as well. A tree park has also come up. Lots of peacocks to be sighted. Also a good place to check out the night sky and various astronomical events. A flag hoist happens here every year on Independance Day. The hill also makes a back drop for the St.Philomenas College.
It's a great place to visit in the evening. There are fun things to do at the weekend time
