BEACH ROAD BEACH - Public beach in Kochi - Ernakulam, India

It was actually not a beach, but formed it 2 years back, at the Covid time. Such a lovely beach, but lot of thrash people dumb here, just loosing it's serenity...

With Shangumugham beach loosing its shore because of rampant beach erosion, this is another beach close to it which is slowly getting crowded. It was so neat and clean. We even found some place near to Ganapathi Temple where it was very much secluded and only few families were there. If you walk little bit from main side of the shore, you would get to see the point where Veli lake ends near the sea. It's a good view point where you get to see speed boat gushing through Veli lake and also you can go for horse rides. In the month of February some church festival was there for which food stalls were erected. To my surprise, I noticed entire shore was littered with food waste with no proper place to sit itself. Entire beach got spoiled and I could still see lot of littering, also there is no proper dustbin to dispose waste. It would be great if nearby church and other govt authorities take some strict measures to control the irresponsible behavior of public by having at least few dustbins.

There is great owl painting there near a small court. One has to climb the wall rocks to get a glimpse of the sea

A hidden jem of a location. The finest beach area available in west kochi. Its just about 50 meters from the main road but way to the beach is very narrow and only two wheelers can pass through. The beach is long and most likely by evenings it turns a play area for football and other games. The outside croud is very less as it is not that popular like Fortkochi beach and the issue of accessibility. Nice location for sunset views

A beautiful and calm beach, not crowded and a great place to spend time especially at sunset.

Not s busy beach like fort kochi. Calming and not so crowded. But it's hard to spot this place. Beach is really clean . Not a sigle piece of plastic or waste. I've reached there about 7 30 night. There was not enough light only one flood light post there but it covers main area. best time to visit this place is 4 30 to 6 30. But it's also beautiful at night. Enjoyed Cool breeze. It was a relief from the hot day.

Need to take a break from the busy life, try this place. Good place to spend time. Enjoy the weather and watch a beautiful sunset. People and childer don't know how to swim please stay on the shore There is No life guards to save you. Only angels out there is the neighbours and fishermen. Be very cautious cause already this beauti has taken life's.
