Bata Store - Shoe store in Chandannagar - Hooghly, India

A large showroom with good stock. Staff are well behaved. Location of the store is also easy to access and parking is easy.

Very bad service. Lady staff are mostly reluctant to give service. No salesmanship and bad attitude. Male staff are still better. If you ever visit this store you have to help yourself to find out a footwear (if available). Never take any senior citizen in this store to buy for them. I had very bad experience today, my 84 years old father was expected to choose a footwear for himself from the shoes displayed, moving around the store. After showing one style, the salesgirl was reluctant to bring anymore and spoke very rudely. I walked out off the store with my father and bought a number of shoes from a different shop where the staff gladly showed different styles of shoes, made him walk comfortably and they were so cordial with my father. I would recommend Mileage at Chandannagar Bagbazar rather then Bata at Chandannagar. If you prefer Bata, do visit Kolkata outlets.

The store and their attendant are good products are also well. There's too many products you liked at your 1st sight but they are over-priced. Overall i recommend you if you're not budget oreinted person.

Worst service in a store. The attendants have no interest in engaging, most sizes are not available and they sell stuff with wrong information. I asked for a shoe polish cream , the woman sold me a black polish. I am never going back

The prices of the shoes are way too expensive with no discount offers. If you want a brand name shoes but not tight on budget, go for this store. Although bata has a name and quality, so there's no compromise in quality product. But still I think the prices are a bit higher.

Good for cheap affordable and good quality daily wear products. Don't expect to find every item on the catalogue. Stock here is limited in terms of availability of styles. The store also has a variety of women's handbags and purses.

Would have rated it five stars if they improved their stock. The location is ideal for bringing in new customers. But they simply refuse bring in variations.
