Bastar Jungle Resort - Resort hotel in Jagdalpur - Bastar, India

The food was good here. But as we booked rooms with complimentary dinner and breakfast in buffet system, we did not receive any of this in buffet. Rather we had to place an order for food. Plus, there are no televisions in the rooms. The location is in depth of the forest.. No directions were there. Except the food taste, everything was worthless.

Property is beautiful but not maintained properly. Staff is polite, but service is slow. Food is good but needs to improve the quality. Rooms also need maintenance. A lot of grass needs removal.

Superb interior, bathrooms can be better. Food is 3/5. Its away from city noise and gives you that nature vibe. I stayed here on Friday night and the staff gave full attention. They did the best they can. Charges should be 3500 per cottage that should be good. But they are charging 4500.

No water , soap, broken plaster of room wall, sleeping receptionist, no cook, no food ( only assistant of the cook was available who could cook mixed vegetable and roti...it was tasty to be fair). Behaviour was good . Ordered tea which was promptly given. Rest they give vacant look. Honestly these people have no idea about hospitality.otherwise they are good people. Why bother them? Let them be happy inside the resort. We were the only occupants. Perhaps it is not self sustaining. However the property is inside jungle. Cool and beautiful on a may evening which is commendable. Only last three km road is bad.

Very poor service, we were told that the timings of breakfast are till 11:00 am, when we reached for b/f at 10:30, they bluntly denied us to serve the breakfast, we were 3 families with kids, and returned without eating anything. They don't have humanity also. Confirm everything before booking. Otherwise place is nice.

Poor infrastructure 1) bathroom fixtures were unclean and unusables with muddy floor and yellow water in western 2) unclean and smelly towels 3) red patchy blankets and bed sheets 4) kitchen was far away from hotel rooms and they were bringing the orders without any cover. It was raining heavily so our orders got affected. 5) there was a faulty electric kettle in one room and in other room there was no electric kettle after asking they have arranged a kettle which was having spiders. 6) foods and rooms are over priced(roti 22Rs per pc and Rice 220Rs per plate) 7) no help from the manager Vijay after calling him multiple times and then after roaming aimlessly for about 30mins we got help from Mr A Dubey who is from city office and some localities we reached to the hotel. 8) Vijay who is the so called manager does not have the meaning of hospitality. Only good thing about this place is the service provided by the two waiters ( HABIL & HARISH) whose relentless efforts made our stay a bit tolerate.

Location is good although it's totally out side Jagdalpur town. Rooms were big and comfortable. Food was ok given the standard of the place. Service should be improved.

Just horrible experience... Mr Vijay and his staff ruin the stay... they r just not bothered about people staying here after making such huge payments... there is just no service available... we booked rooms for 11-12 July, 2022... could not provide morning tea saying staff has gone to town to bring milk... earlier assured of good breakfast.... but in morning started giving excuses... earlier reviews also highlighted same problems... it means owner does not take notice of reviews... never never come here...you will repent...
