It was an amazing experience. You need to buy ticket one day before for the safari. And it takes almost 3 to 4 hours to stand in ticket line. In a way your half day is wasted in buying tickets. One can book tickets online 5 to 6 months prior the visit as told by guide.
Arnaque !!! Le parc et les lodges sont extremement chers. On vous vend un parc riche d'animaux et surtout une tres forte chance de voir des tigres . En 2 jours sur place (4 safaris), non seulement nous n'avons pas vu de tigre (juste apercu de tres tres loin allonge sur le sol) mais nous n'avons vu aucun autre animal ! Non pardon, nous avons vu des coqs, des paons et des biches ! Comme dans certains parcs de France en fait. N'y allez pas, aucun interet !

Wonderful place with dense forest. There are 3 zones - khatauli, magadhi and tala. Best is tala zone because beside tiger there is statue of god vishnu ( shesh shaiyaa) and fort ( where public is not allowed to go) , other two zones are also good. Many a times people don't get to see a tiger in one go so they again book the ticket for second visit. Prior online booking is must without which you will not get gypsy. Apart from gypsy a bus called canter also go for safari, which I think is better than gypsy because it has a shade and both sun and dust problem becomes irritating, so carry your sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and mask.
