A nice place in Purulia in Ayodhya hills! This is just near to Marble lake. You have to get down around 60 steps and then you will reach the 2 spots from where you can see the falls. Parking available and hence a place to visit with family and click good pictures.

A wonderful sight of natural beauty... Around 7kms from Ayodhya hill top. A must visit place. The pathway is not so easy to reach to the downward side, be careful and not recommended for the elderly persons.

This beautiful waterfall is located in the Purulia district of West Bengal. It is located in a dense forest and surrounded by huge rocks. The view of the waterfall is truly mesmerizing and the crystal clear water is so cool. Trekking area, rock climbing, etc are the possibilities around this waterfall. The cons I must stay is you have to walk many stairs and it's tough for aged people. Its beautiful mainly in rainy season but after summer or winter very less amount of water. You can't enjoy. Some people throw plastic and garbage and make the surrounding dirty. So if you visit please maintain the hygiene. Else the view and peacefulness of the place is superb. Must visit

Bamni Falls is a waterfall located in the Ayodhya Hills of Purulia district, West Bengal, India. It is a popular tourist destination, known for its scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere. The falls are located about 40 km from the town of Purulia. To reach Bamni Falls, you can take a bus or taxi from Purulia to the village of Bareria. From Bareria, you can walk or hire a jeep to reach the falls. The falls are a short but steep trek from the village. The trek is about 500 meters long and takes about 30 minutes to complete. The path is well-maintained and there are stairs at certain sections. Once you reach the falls, you will be greeted by a stunning sight. The falls are about 40 feet high and 70 feet wide. The water falls down a series of steps into a natural pool below. The pool is deep enough to swim in, but it is important to be careful as the rocks can be slippery. The area around the falls is very scenic. There are green trees and rocks all around. The air is fresh and cool. The sound of the falling water is very soothing. Bamni Falls is a great place to relax and unwind. You can go for a swim in the pool, take a walk in the forest, or simply sit back and enjoy the scenery. Here are some tips for visiting Bamni Falls: The best time to visit Bamni Falls is during the monsoon season (June-September), when the falls are at their fullest. However, the falls are also beautiful during the winter season (October-March), when the weather is pleasant. Wear comfortable shoes, as you will need to walk a short distance to reach the falls. Be careful while swimming in the pool, as the rocks can be slippery. Carry water and snacks with you, as there are no shops near the falls. Do not litter the area. Keep the falls clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

A wonderful place amidst the jungle of Ajodhya hills. U need to descend 350 steps to get the view. During rainy season it's the best time as the stream is heavy and dramatic yet one needs to be aware of flush floods. The serene greenary of the hills makes the journey special yet elderly and little ones might find difficulty while walking uphill on the way back.
