The resort and staff were nothing short of exceptional! From the stunning amenities to the warm and attentive service, every movement felt like a luxury escape. The staff dedication to ensuring a perfect stay made it an unforgettable experience.
Also how can I forget the food was an absolute delight.
This could have been a 5-star review, but for the treatment by the management/owner. We happened to be there on the eve of Diwali, when there was absolutely no one else staying. This was not informed to us while booking, even though we had called them well in advance, to check if it was okay to come during this time. Imagine our dismay on landing up here with a 9 year old, to see a completely empty property. It was truly eerie as the evening progressed. Further, to our distress, we realized that they had retained the staff only for us, instead of letting them go home for Diwali. Had they mentioned even a day or two prior that they had no other bookings, we would have been happy to change our plans.
Seeing this, we felt that we should leave earlier than planned. When we requested the same, we were shocked that the reservation desk (which is not at the resort) would still charge 70% (Rs10K) of the room cost. While we understand that this is the usual cancellation policy and we were willing to pay a reasonable penalty, they refused to budge. Letting us leave on Diwali morning would have been a win-win for both the guest and staff. So it was upsetting to see this treatment from them.
The ONLY saving grace of this place is their staff who are exceptionally lovely and went out of their way to help, to the best of their abilities. The other commendable aspect is their food. Every meal was simply exquisite. Further, their chef Mr. Hansraj and their manager Mr.Ashok customized every meal and also accommodated our requests for local cuisine. The food and service alone deserve 5 stars of their own.
In terms of the property itself, it is small and does feel over priced, for the facilities provided. The location is very remote and there isn't much to do here. Network is pretty sporadic, with no wifi or any entertainment unit available in the rooms. The room and bathroom while spacious, are full of lizards and other insects, which of course is to be expected in any jungle resort. We had an unfortunate situation of water and electricity not working on the day of our departure, which created a lot of inconveniences and delayed our exit.
All in all, we leave with bittersweet memories of this place and would not recommend it. A meal here though, is absolutely worth going for!
Most amazing experience, beautiful rustic room, cozy and very tastefully done. The surroundings are one with nature and one could just not tire walking around.
The staff is courteous and eager to please, esp. Mr Ashok and the Chef, Mr Hansraj. The food is absolutely delicious and right off the inhouse farm, the freshest possible.
We would love to come back, next time with friends.
Exceptionally peaceful and happy place to stay.The staff is genuinely good and helpful. They never say no to anything and anytime. Location is very nice. The environment here is very soothing and relaxing.

The staff is very cooperative and helpful. The food was delicious. Rooms were clean and well lit. It is a beautiful property and would really recommend this to anyone travelling there.
Only point of consideration being that since the resort is far away from the city, they take orders for lunch and dinner, mostly in the morning. On weekends this might not be the case because of all rooms being occupied but since we were the only guests, we had to order all at once. But since the food was really scrumptious, no complaints there.
Great stay. Rooms are clean and aesthetically made. Private pool and outdoor shower are a plus. Their organic garden, rustic outdoors give you a feeling of forest life. Kitchen is hygienically kept and food is extremely delicious. But the best part about the resort is its staff. Ashok and chef Hansraj were very polite and helpful. Having conversations about their life in ranthambore were great. Must stay.
We stayed in bagh serai for 3 nights and must share that we had the bestest of our time. chef hansraj and Ashok ji were outstanding... Every meal was outstanding and top of it their service is the cherry on the cake!! They arranged candle light dinner which was a total surprise.. Loved every thing about Bagh Serai!! Will love to visit this place again!!
A beautiful place to stay and relax with the best hospitality you could ever get in such a remote place. I visited the place with my childhood friend along with our Family for 5 days, it was clean in all respect.
The reasons I enjoyed my stay are:
1. The food- Ajay the head chef was amazing, he served us what we demanded and that to not a single we had a complaint for any dish.
2. Hospitality- Mr. Hansraj the manager is well informed person. He looked after our all the requirements and see that we don't have any problem. He is a local guy and can manage any eventualities in case it arises.
In my opinion this two things are enough to have a pleasant vacation.I strongly recommend this place.
