Went there to attend the betrothal of my cousin and it was my first time there. It's a little off the beaten track and I really enjoyed the premises. It's perfect for small, intimate gatherings and the food was out of the world. It's very close to the backwaters and there's lots of scope for photography too. Really enjoyed the place and the staff were very courteous too. I would surely recommend this place.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The property is lovely, and the staff was exceptionally accommodating. The highlight for me was the excellent food - each meal was a delight. A highly recommended experience for those seeking a combination of a beautiful setting, attentive staff, and delicious cuisine.
Superb ambiance .. Lot of greenery and free space.. also great lake view .. staff also supportive and helpful ..all this was lot better than expected Beer & Wine Parlor(they have it in website) -- not there now.. Breakfast good ( it was not complementary in our case .. so feel it little high price)
Loved my stay here. Staff is amazing, and the resort is well managed and very clean. Its location is spectacular and has got an infinity pool. They give you a boat ride which is an amazing experience
Visited this beautiful place to enjoy our wedding anniversary plus birthday . Loved by the serenity and beauty of this resort situated near the Vembanad lake. Room was so spacious and tidy as it has all the requirements including two bathrooms and a small lounge area. They provided complimentary tea and snacks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Food at the restaurant was so tasty but very costly. The complimentary boat ride was so interesting . The boat ride was about one hour and I really loved it. Also there was a music cultural program at night for about 1 hour with tabla and guitar. This was also very soothing and awesome. Overall service and this resort marks an excellent place for all those who wish to explore Kumarokom Backwaters in Kerala
Great rooms ,which are spacious,neat and tidy, which gives you a great view of the backwaters . The lawns are beautifully maintained and really a beautiful sight to see. They take you on a free boat ride around the backwaters in the morning, which is a pretty good sight to see. The pool is really nice and is located close to the backwaters which again offers a great view.. The food is also good. overall a really nice experiance.
This is not a family friendly resort where the place is lacking good atmosphere. There were no direction from front desk staff. Restaurant staff, sanitation staff, spa staff and relief staff were very friendly. Reception staff are not much informative, but they keep theirs morale under control. Reception staff needs to be trained to welcome the guest and how to handle conflict resolution. Location is great where you can relax under the coconut trees. Be careful, hotel will charge item per consumption without providing direction. Boating ride was canceled in this place, other resorts boats were running even if they're sea weed on water. Children play area was filthy, not maintained by staff. Bicycles are not maintained well, safety hazards been identified. Rooms were much smaller, cleaning team didn't replace with the new bed sheets instead used the worn one during housekeeping. Room was smell like kerosene and outside rooms were hotter than outside weather which ruined our sleep
It is a beautiful property with great rooms. My favorite were the lake view rooms. My cousins and I came for a 4 day stay and we loved everything from the amazing breakfast to the breathtaking boat rides. We also went kayaking and the staff were so kind helping us whenever we needed. The kids play area and the activity center was loved by the kids.

We absolutely loved our experience. We booked a 1 bedroom houseboat with A/C in the bedrooms. It was spacious and clean and the bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with an English toilet (no toilet paper only a water jet so take that if you need it!).

We had this mid-sized boat to ourselves (a group of 4). It was nice mostly sunny day so we enjoyed the view from top. The crew were very friendly and navigated the boat at a nice leisurely pace. My wife even took a short nap in one of the bedrooms.
